We already knew Reed would be out for this game. We have Vernon Davis ranked as a top-8 tight end across the board versus the Cowboys tonight.

Smith-Schuster is back at practice and is practicing in full. This is good news after he missed last week's game due to a hamstring injury.

A returning Smith-Schuster will return to his role as the No. 2 WR in Pittsburgh and push Martavis Bryant down the depth chart. Check back Sunday morning for an update to our rankings once Smith-Schuster has officially been deemed active.

Freeman has missed the last two games but has been practicing this week. If he returns to game action there won't be any limits set on him by the coaching staff, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

Back at practice, no limits—sounds like Freeman is set to return this week and reclaim his title as the No. 1 RB in Atlanta. The matchup is a tough one for Freeman, as Minnesota is ranked third in aFPA to RBs. If he returns, we view him as an RB2 and have him ranked as such—he's our No. 20 RB in standard leagues and our No. 22 RB in PPR leagues.

Olsen missed his second straight practice today. After leaving last week's game as a precaution, it's not looking good for Olsen to suit up versus the Saints this week.

Olsen returned to action last week for the first time since Week 2 and it would make sense for the Panthers to hold him out another game to heal. This will be a situation to monitor until inactives are announced on Sunday. As of now, we have Olsen ranked as a top-16 option at the tight end position in all formats, in a tough matchup versus the Saints (ranked sixth in aFPA vs. TEs).

Patriots HC Bill Belichick knows the type of player Taylor is and is concerned about his athleticism.

"We want to try to keep him out of those situations as much as possible," Belichick said Wednesday. "We don’t want him extending the play. He’s a lot better at extending the plays than we are. Inevitably, those are going to come up and we're going to have to defend them. The more that we can limit those loose plays, extended plays, I think the better off we'll be.

"I don’t think you can eliminate them completely, but we certainly aren’t looking to get into those situations. Go back, let him run around, let him extend the play and see if we can defend it. We're certainly not trying to do that and no team has been very successful with that with him. He’s very good. If you don’t let him run laterally and throw the ball, he can run up the middle and run the ball and he’s hard to tackle."

Earlier in the season, the Patriots defense was one fantasy owners picked on with quarterbacks, as they allowed an average of 23.88 fantasy points per game to the position from Week 1 to Week 7.

During that span, they allowed 20 or more rushing yards four times, with the more mobile Deshaun Watson and Cam Newton reaching the 40-yard mark. Taylor definitely fits the mold of a mobile, rushing quarterback and has had some success on the ground versus the Patriots in the past.

Since becoming a Bill, Taylor has faced the Pats four times. He has rushed for at least 28 yards three times, with two games of 40+ yards and a touchdown. His rushing ability boosts his fantasy floor. It's a very good matchup for Taylor this week as the Pats rank 19th in aFPA vs. QBs. We have Taylor ranked as our No. 10 QB, so feel free to start him with confidence.

In 2015, Murray rushed for 1,066 yards and 4 touchdowns as an Oakland Raider and made the Pro Bowl because of his performance. He believes he's a better player now.

“I think so,’’ Murray said when asked about being better than his Pro Bowl version. “I think I’m continuing to get better each year. Each year I’ve been in the league, that’s my goal has been to try to get better even if it’s just a little bit, and I think I’ve been able to do that.’’

On the season, Murray has rushed for 496 yards and 5 touchdowns, however, 399 of those yards and all of his scores have come in the past five games.

As much as some in the fantasy community prefer Jerick McKinnon to Murray, there's no denying Murray has been a useful fantasy asset over the past five games. During that span, he has rushed for at least 68 yards and a touchdown in every game but one.

Vikings backs have a neutral matchup against the Falcons this week, who rank 11th in our aFPA vs. RBs metric. Feel free to start Murray as either your second fantasy RB or in the FLEX position as we have him ranked as our No. 22 RB in standard leagues and our No. 26 RB in PPR leagues.

Michael Crabtree suspension reduced to one game, per source.

In a story we posted just a short while ago, that seemed to be the goal of the appeal of both Crabtree and Aqib Talib - get it reduced to one game. Crabtree will now be able play in what should be a key, divisional game in Week 14 against the Chiefs.

The Jimmy Garoppolo era in San Francisco begins in earnest on Sunday.

The 49ers announced Tuesday that the former Patriots quarterback will start against the Chicago Bears this week over incumbent C.J. Beathard.

Garoppolo threw a touchdown on his lone series against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12.

Beathard was battling some injuries heading into this week which may have made the 49ers decision much easier. Garoppolo doesn't have a ton of weapons around him and is playing behind a bad O-line, but should have QB2 value going forward.

It starts with remorse.

The unequivocal, heartfelt, convincing kind.

Remorse for NFL side judge Laird Hayes who grabbed his left chest area in pain Sunday after a 336-pound Raiders lineman unintentionally mowed him to the ground. Remorse for the minimum three punches personally thrown. Remorse for the nearly five-minute delay in game action, for the optics to the league, for the damage to his team. Remorse, most of all, for young fans watching.

True remorse must be the basis for this to work.

Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree has an appeal hearing Tuesday for a two-game suspension the league levied onto both him and Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib. Their squabble, which came in the first quarter of the Raiders’ 21-14 win in Oakland, centered around Talib having yanked Crabtree’s chain during a game for the second time since Jan. 1.

It seems the goal is to reduce the suspension from two games to one, and according to the story that appears winnable. The hearing is scheduled for today so an announcement could come sooner than later. It could potentially allow him to play a key, Dec. 10 game against the Chiefs.

Don’t see Jordan Reed, Montae Nicholson or Terrell McClain at Redskins practice.

It's probably not a good sign for Reed owners counting on him for Thursday night against the Cowboys. Looks like Davis will get another start and is a solid fill-in for fantasy lineups.

Darren McFadden announced he's retiring from the NFL.

The New York Giants will take the field without Eli Manning starting under center for the first time since 2004.

The team announced Tuesday that Geno Smith will start at quarterback Sunday in Oakland versus the Raiders. Coach Ben McAdoo said rookie Davis Webb will also play, if not in Week 13, then some point before the end of the season.

Manning was given the chance to start to keep his streak alive but then give way to Smith and/or Webb, but Manning declined that option. It's not necessarily a huge fantasy story as much as it is a football story. It seems like Manning's days in New York are coming to an end. Smith doesn't offer much fantasy hope, and you can look at it as a downgrade to Engram and Shepard, the team's top two targets.

Detroit got worried somebody would try to poach RB Tion Green, and elected to carry him on the opening day roster. And heading into a Week 13 game against Baltimore, they're still carrying him. Even though he has yet to even dress for a game.

In fact, when everyone's healthy, he is the second man down behind Zach Zenner. He's the fifth running back at a position the club typically carries four. So obviously the Lions see something they like in the rookie to continue protecting him with a roster spot that's going unused on Sundays.

"He's been getting better," offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said. "Been practicing a lot this year, getting a lot of carries. Sometimes that's with the scout defense versus the first offense, and you see some nice things. I think he's developing his body a little bit, developing the way he sort of sees and understands the game."

The story pointed out that Green's specialty was goal line duty and he was 32-for-32 scoring from the goal line while at Cincinnati. This year, the Lions have rushed 12 times from inside the five and scored just three times. Washington is the designated power back and has five carries from inside the five and hasn't scored on any of them. There's no indication the team is going to make a switch, but carrying Green on the roster this long means they obviously like his talent.

Miami lost starting running back Damien Williams and reserve Senorise Perry in the game. Williams suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter and Perry went into concussion protocol following a big collision on special teams in the first half. Both are expected to miss future games.

The injury situation left Miami with just one healthy running back -- Kenyan Drake -- for much of the second half. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Williams also will miss Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos but he hasn't been ruled out by the team.

Miami likely will promote DeVeon Smith from the practice squad. He was called up briefly to the active roster for one week this month and can serve as a backup while providing help on special teams.

As the story said, this is a big chance for Drake to step up, however he did have a big fumble last week. And the knock on him has been staying healthy. But with not much behind him to threaten a potential large workload, Drake has a chance to really make an impact at the position and be a solid fantasy starter.

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford said his right ankle is "feeling better" after injuring it during Thursday's loss to Minnesota.

Stafford's comments came during his weekly appearance Monday on WJR Radio, where he has briefly discussed his other injuries throughout the season.

Stafford injured the ankle in the fourth quarter on a play that resulted in a touchdown pass to Marvin Jones. After completing the pass, Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson rolled onto Stafford's ankle. Stafford stayed on the ground for several minutes before hobbling off. He did not miss a play, but limped heavily to his postgame news conference. Stafford said he stayed in Michigan over the weekend to get treatment on the ankle and that "it's getting better." He said he had X-rays done on the ankle, but wouldn't reveal details of what the tests showed, the story went on to say.

C.J. Beathard did not sustain a long-term injury, Kyle Shanahan said. He has a knee contusion and a hip strain. Decision by Wednesday on who will play QB for 49ers on Sunday.

With Beathard a little banged up after last week, Garoppolo would seem to have the upper hand leading up to the team's decision. We'll know the answer Wednesday.

The Seahawks remain hopeful running back Chris Carson can return this season.

The rookie underwent ankle surgery on October 3 after being injured in an October 1 game against the Colts. He is eligible to return to the active roster, having spent eight weeks on injured reserve.

HC Pete Carroll said he wants to see Carson's workouts, but added Carson is really ramping it up to see how hard he can go with trainers. Carroll thinks there's a chance "in the next few weeks" but that's not really a timetable to count on. Seems like his return could be in the middle of the fantasy playoffs which would make him a bit of a risk.

Nick Novak says he’ll be ready to go this week. But just in case that doesn’t happen, Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said he’ll bring in kickers for tryouts on Tuesday.

Last month after Novak suffered an ankle injury covering kickoffs against the Denver Broncos, the Chargers brought in Younghoe Koo, Andrew Franks and Jason Myers for a tryout, but stayed with Novak.

West was dealing with a calf injury but took full reps Friday. Like last week, he's a healthy scratch this week with Danny Woodhead back in action.

League source confirms #Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett will go on injured reserve.

Bennett played just two games for the Patriots after being claimed on waivers from the Packers. Allen looks like he'll move in to back up Rob Gronkowski.

Paxton Lynch has high ankle sprain. Out this week, maybe longer. Trevor Siemian will be Broncos starting QB vs. Miami, per league source.

Siemian looked pretty good in relief throwing for 149 yards and two scores in the Broncos' loss to the Raiders. With a high ankle sprain for Lynch, Osweiler could start the next few weeks.

Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston had an MRI today and did some rehab exercises. As long as there is no soreness tomorrow, he'll be cleared to resume throwing in practice on Wednesday, per head coach Dirk Koetter.

Fitzpatrick wasn't able to lead the Bucs to another win this week and it looks like there's a chance the team could go back to Winston for Week 13 as long as there are no setbacks.

Hue Jackson says Browns hope to play Josh Gordon as much as possible. Gordon, reinstated on a conditional basis earlier this month, poised to play first regular season game in almost three years.

Looks like the Browns are going to work him in as quickly as possible. He'll be a risky fantasy play until he can show some consistent production and it's anyone's guess how long that could take. It's hard to envision him getting a full workload his first week back, but we should at least see a steady increase week-to-week.

Rishard Matthews day-to-day for Titans with hamstring.

His status for Week 13 is no sure thing at this point, but we could know more on Wednesday. If he's unable to go, look for Davis and Decker to see increased work. However it was Walker who seemed to benefit the most with a 4-63-1 line.

The Bills have provided an update on the condition of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin‘s knee.

The team announced, via multiple reporters, that Benjamin suffered a torn meniscus when he was injured against the Chargers in Week 11. Benjamin did not play in Sunday’s victory over the Chiefs and didn’t practice last week, although the team still listed him as questionable for the contest.

There seems to be some confusion among the Bills. The story reported HC Sean McDermott was asked specifically about a torn meniscus during his Monday press conference and said that Benjamin did not suffer the injury. The Bills said McDermott thought the question was about torn ligaments, something that McDermott had ruled out a week ago. The story went on to say McDermott called Benjamin day-to-day, which may be overly optimistic given it's an injury that usually keeps players out of action for at least a few weeks.

Jack Del Rio said WR Amari Cooper is fine and in league’s concussion protocol.

Adam Schefter reports Cooper also has a sprained ankle but there's no word on how serious that injury is. With both injuries, his status is up in the air at best for Week 13.

The Miami Dolphins lost a pair of running backs Sunday afternoon in their 35-17 loss to the division-leading New England Patriots.

Starter Damien Williams sustained a shoulder injury during the third quarter of Sunday’s game, and did not return.

Also, third-string running back Senorise Perry suffered a concussion on the opening kickoff after halftime.

The severity of Williams’ injury is unknown despite reports Monday morning that the fourth-year pro had sustained a dislocated shoulder, head coach Adam Gase told reporters.

“Right now we’ll keep evaluating,” Gase said. “I’m looking at it as day-to-day on him. He’s tough. What he went through yesterday was very painful. I’m not sure many guys would bounce back as quickly as he does.”

Gase didn't rule out Williams playing this week despite that fact that outlets have certainly indicated he seems unlikely to to go. Gase didn't get into the details of the injury but it still seems unlikely Williams plays in Week 13. Drake should be in store for a big workload if that's the case.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for the first time in public since his Oct. 19 surgery to repair his broken right clavicle.

And this wasn’t just a little tossing around the pigskin. He launched at least one throw that traveled more than 50 yards in the air. The workout took place about two hours before the Packers played the Steelers at Heinz Field.

Rodgers went on injured reserve the day after his surgery and is eligible to practice this coming week. However, he must remain on IR for eight weeks, meaning the earliest he could possibly play would be Dec. 17 at Carolina -- the Packers’ Week 15 game.

Broncos QB Paxton Lynch’s ankle injury is considered day-to-day, sources say.

The injury is considered not serious Rapoport said in the tweet. Lynch has tests today and the team has a QB decision to make, Rapoport also added. Siemian would seem the likely starter this time around should Lynch not be able to suit up. He took over for Lynch against the Raiders and threw for 149 yards and two TDs.

Initial X-rays on Panthers TE Greg Olsen's foot Sunday came back negative.

Schefter added he will undergo further evaluation today, per source. Looks like Olsen avoided another break in his foot. The Panthers pulled Olsen in the second half as a precaution. While it's good news, we're still not really certain what Olsen's status will be for Week 13, or if there will be another pitch count if he does play.

In the aftermath of the Bills' 16-10 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, the elephant in the room was the quarterback situation.

After getting enough from Tyrod Taylor for the Bills to get a victory, coach Sean McDermott was asked whether the win proved that he erred in having Nathan Peterman start last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. Peterman threw five interceptions and the Bills were blown out.

McDermott again said he felt the move was the right thing for his football team at the time, but he did commit to Taylor for next Sunday's home game against the New England Patriots.

Asked specifically whether Taylor is the quarterback until the team would be eliminated from the playoffs, McDermott said, "Tyrod is our quarterback next week."

Doesn't seem like McDermott wants to say starting Peterman last week may not have been the best move, but at least committed to Taylor for Week 13.

Dolphins RB Damien Williams is expected to miss Sunday’s game vs. Denver.

Schefter added he could possibly miss more time with the injury he suffered Sunday against Patriots, per his source. Look for Drake to get a big chunk of the workload at RB while Williams misses time.

Coach Andy Reid said he didn’t consider a change to Patrick Mahomes II at quarterback on Sunday and won’t make a switch for next Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Even if Alex Smith keeps his starting job for the rest of the season, he’s making the decision easier for the Chiefs to switch to Mahomes next season. He’s also perhaps narrowing the market for his services among other teams.

As the story went on to say, one way or another, Smith faces an important stretch of games in December. If he can lead a revival, he’ll emerge as starter material, whether for the Chiefs or another team. However, the running game has failed and the team is dropping passes, the story added.

Blaine Gabbert has shown in two starts that he needed to have the right combination of talent and coaching around him to flourish. He’s scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent after this season, which should force the Cardinals’ hand at making him their answer at quarterback by signing him to a long-term deal. They can still draft a quarterback, but spending a first-round pick on one may not be entirely necessary.

This is just one opinion, but there had been a lot who cover the league feeling Gabbert should have been given a chance once Palmer went down. Now that he's had his chance, he certainly seems to be delivering and should at least be the team's starting quarterback for the rest of the season.

After a big hit from end Michael Bennett, C.J. Beathard didn't do as he usually does and pop right back up. He hobbled to the sideline as Jimmy Garoppolo entered. Beathard is set for an MRI on Monday morning. The hope is that Beathard simply suffered a bruised knee, and he said after the game that he thinks he'll be all right.

Garoppolo ran three plays, eventually leading the team to a TD. HC Kyle Shanahan said those three plays will have nothing to do with who plays in Week 13. The team is looking to monitor Beathard's leg injury and get to Wednesday before making any decisions.

Carroll said Mike Davis will be back next week.

Lacy handled a bulk of the rushing against the 49ers, carrying the ball 17 times ... but he only managed 46 yards for a 2.7 yards-per-carry average. The Seahawks are looking for a back to carry the load, and according to other tweets by Crabtree, it looks like Davis is going to get that shot. Crabtree added that Rawls was trying to do too much, cutting back when he shouldn't and missing holes, so it seems like he's fallen out of favor at the moment. Davis has a tougher matchup against the Eagles in Week 13, but the game is at home.

Montgomery was doubtful heading into this one and wasn't given much of a shot. He's officially out. Jamaal Williams will get a bulk of the workload, he has 43 touches for 169 yards the last two games and we consider him a high-volume play.

Plenty of mixed signals have emerged in the aftermath of Panthers tight end Greg Olsen‘s premature removal from Sunday’s game, with an injury to the same foot that had kept him out since Week 2.

The team called it a precaution. Olsen said that the foot was sore. A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that Olsen already has had X-rays on the foot (they were negative) and that more tests will be conducted on Monday.

This is obviously a situation to watch as Olsen was a popular late-season pickup for fantasy owners eyeing the playoffs.

Raiders receiver Amari Cooper is out with a concussion after being hurt on an illegal hit by Denver safety Darian Stewart.

Cooper went over the middle on a pass from Derek Carr as Stewart rushed in from his deep safety position to try to break it up. Stewart appeared to hit Cooper in the helmet and was penalized. Cooper was down on the turf for several minutes.

Related players: Michael Crabtree, Seth Roberts, Cordarrelle Patterson.

Crabtree was ejected for fighting in this game so the Raiders will play out this contest short at WR. But the worry is the health of Cooper on what was an ugly hit. His status is very much in question for Week 13.

Paxton Lynch injures ankle, Trevor Siemian takes the field.

Unfortunately, it was more of the same for the Broncos at the QB position as Lynch was just 9-for-14 for 41 yards with an interception before leaving. We'll have to see how serious the injury is and what the Broncos will do moving forward.

For Saints running back Mark Ingram, who’s in the midst of a career-year, the stakes are high. If he’s named a first-team All-Pro, Ingram’s contract voids, and he becomes a free agent, via Mike Triplett of ESPN.com.

Ingram has 806 rushing yards through 10 games; his career best came last year, with 1,043. As Triplett notes, however, Ingram has been particularly productive the past six games. If he can duplicate that performance, he’ll finish the year with 1,442 yards.

His current contract expires after 2018, at a base salary next year of $4 million. He signed the current four-year, $16 million deal to stay with the Saints after his rookie contract expired, and after the Saints didn’t pick up his fifth-year option.

The story said the decision is made by the 50 media members who vote on the Associated Press All-Pro team. We're a while away from this becoming an issue but it would be interesting to see what the Saints decide to do with Kamara—an emerging star at the position.

Doug Martin suffered a concussion in Week 12. Martin had seven carries for 33 yards before being injured.

If Martin is going to miss more time, Rodgers would seem like the candidate to take the early-down work. But so far in Week 12, it's Barber who has two short TD runs.

Dolphins RB Damien Williams (shoulder) and RB Senorise Perry (concussion) are both out for the game. The only other running back on the roster is Kenyan Drake.

Drake will finish out the game this week and if the injuries to Williams and Perry are significant enough he could get a lot more opportunities going forward. Reports say it didn't look good and that Williams had to be carted off.

Graham is dealing with an ankle injury and missed practice Thursday but is good to go.

Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin will not travel to Kansas City and has been downgraded to OUT.

This will be a boost to the other Bills pass-catchers. Tyrod Taylor will also start, which obviously is better than the dumpster fire that was Nathan Peterman last week.

Cutler has been ruled out for this week's game against the Patriots, and Matt Moore will start in his place.

We had Cutler ranked as our No. 27 QB this week, so expect Moore to be in a similar spot once we update our rankings. On the season, Moore has completed 59% of his passes (55-of-93) for 646 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.

A bout of turf toe has kept Brown out of practice all week and will force him to miss this week's game against the Jaguars.

Brown will not take advantage of the Jaguars being without Jalen Ramsey this week. Even before the injury, we didn't think he was going to be much of a fantasy factor this week, ranking him in the late-70s of WRs this week. Jaron Brown, J.J. Nelson, and Chad Williams could see a boost in playing time and production with Brown out.

The Steelers will be without the services of Smith-Shuster this week versus the Green Bay Packers, as he has been ruled OUT with a hamstring injury.

The Packers are ranked 29th vs. WRs in our aFPA metric, so it was shaping up to be a great matchup for the Steelers rookie WR. His absence should lead to more targets coming Martavis Bryant's way.

Falcons HC Dan Quinn has officially ruled Freeman OUT for the team's Week 12 game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With Freeman out, Tevin Coleman will once again handle the workload in a good matchup versus the Bucs, who are ranked 19th vs. RBs in our aFPA metric. We have Coleman ranked as a top-10 RB across the board this week.

Elliott has cleared the concussion protocol and is all set to suit up this week versus the Bears.

This is great news for kicking enthusiasts. Elliott is our second-ranked kicker of the week and is a must-start versus a Bears team allowing the second-most fantasy points to the kicker position.

Ramsey hurt his hand during Friday's practice and the team listed him as questionable to face the Cardinals, however, the CB himself said he won't be playing.

This is big news, as Ramsey is an integral part of a Jaguars pass defense that has been one of the top units in the league. All Cardinals WRs will get a boost this week.

Tolbert will miss this week's game versus the Chiefs, his second in a row he will be sidelined.

Tolbert isn't much of a factor in the Bills' offense, however, any game he doesn't play means LeSean McCoy will be leaned on even more. We have McCoy ranked as a top-7 RB across the board this week.

According to Rapoport, Benjamin won't be at practice yet again today.

It's not looking good for Benjamin this week and he is on track to miss the Bills' game against the Chiefs. It's unfortunate, really, as Bills WRs have the third-best matchup of the week, according to our aFPA metric. We currently have Deonte Thompson ranked as our highest Bills WR in PPR leagues (No. 62 ranked WR) and Zay Jones as our highest-ranked Bills WR in standard leagues (No. 59 ranked WR).

Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald noted that since the Dolphins traded RB Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles they have improved in five offensive categories. One of which being rushing offense, where they jumped from 76.4 rushing yards per game with Ajayi to 89.7 rushing yards per game without him.

It's not a huge improvement, but it's a statistical leap nonetheless. In the absence of Ajayi, Damien Williams and Kenyan Drake have split the workload and combined for an average of 16.33 carries and 88.66 rushing yards. They've only produced one touchdown on the ground, though.

This week, the Dolphins face a Patriots defense ranked fifth in our aFPA vs. RBs. It's a tough matchup for both Williams and Drake, but if you're choosing between the two, we have Williams ranked higher (No. 35 in standard and No. 38 in PPR).

Schefter tweeted out that a source said Shepard will most likely not suit up tonight against Washington.

Shepard missed last week and it will be a blow to the Giants' offense if he is out again tonight. Evan Engram would once again become the focal point of the offense and we have him ranked as our No. 4 TE across the board.

Olsen, who has been on injured reserve and hasn't played since Week 2, was back at practice again today—a good sign he will return to game action this week versus the Jets.

If Olsen does suit up this week he gets a great matchup in his return, according to our aFPA metric. The Jets are giving up an average of 4.5 receptions and 45.9 receiving yards to tight ends on the season. We have Olsen ranked as a top-10 TE in both standard and PPR formats, and have no issue rolling him out in our lineups if he's active this week.

In a 'Behind Enemy Lines' Q+A exchange between Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt and Colts beat writer Mike Chappell, Chappell said he expects Brissett will play this week versus the Titans.

Chappell: "Jacoby is playing better and better. He is in the concussion protocol – he had what’s been called a mild concussion. But he has been practicing, and I would expect him to play."

Brissett was put in the concussion protocol following the team's Week 10 contest versus the Steelers. They had a bye last week and it appears the week of rest helped the Colts QB get healthy.

If Brissett does suit up, it will be his second time playing against the Titans this season. In the first meeting against them, he scored 13.98 fantasy points and finished as the fantasy QB14 for the week. The matchup is fantastic for Brissett and we have him ranked as our No. 17 QB for the week.

Crowder has become more of a focal point in the offense thanks in part to injuries to pass-catchers such as Jordan Reed and Terrelle Pryor.

“Even when he might have been a little dinged up, he was still running good routes,” HC Jay Gruden said. “For whatever reason, he didn’t get the balls targeted to him as much as he should. The more he gets targeted, the more Jamison is going to make plays because he makes plays when he’s covered and when he’s not covered.”

“It’s always a good sign for me to be healthy,” Crowder said. “I’m just trying to continue to get better. Despite the season, I feel like I’ve been having, I’m just trying to go out and finish up the season strong.”

Crowder's season didn't get off to a strong start, but his production has picked up in the last three games he played, averaging 8 targets, 6.66 receptions, and 90 yards during that span.

With Jordan Reed and Terrelle Pryor being non-factors, and the team now having lost Chris Thompson for the season, Crowder should be even more involved in the Washington offense going forward. And he should be a factor in today's game against the Giants, where we have him ranked as a top-24 WR in both standard and PPR formats.

Justin Rogers of Detroit News tweeted out Stafford's Turkey Day stats from his past five Thanksgiving Day performances:

"59.8 completion percentage, 1,730 yards, 13 touchdowns and two interceptions with a 98.7 passer rating."

If we average out Stafford's Thanksgiving Day numbers, they work out to 346 passing yards, 2.6 touchdowns, and 0.4 interceptions. For fantasy purposes, that's an average of 23.44 standard fantasy points.

It's a somewhat difficult matchup for Stafford against the Vikings this week, according to our aFPA metric. We currently have him ranked as our No. 14 QB for the week, but if his Thanksgiving Day history repeats, he should be in for a decent fantasy outing.

Costello tweeted that Forte was at Jets practice today and that, "he ran some routes and appears to be moving well."

Forte hasn't seen the field since Week 9 and his return would turn the Jets' backfield into a three-man RBBC again with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire. We have Powell as the highest-ranked Jets RB in a super difficult matchup versus the Panthers. Check back later in the week to see an update to our rankings if Forte is deemed active.

After committing to Kizer for the rest of the season, Jackson wants his rookie QB to be more consistent.

“As the quarterback, regardless of how the game starts, you just have to be consistent, and you have to be who you are because the team kind of feeds off of you,” Jackson said. “I think he gets it. It’s a conversation we have had. I don’t think he’s doing it intentionally. I just think those things happen. There’s no question when you have success early, everything feels good. When you don’t, you’re not sure how things are going.

“But that’s when you really have to push through and have that focus about, ‘I’m going to do everything I can to get it going my way by making the plays that I need to make.’ It’s a lesson learned. All of the things that we’re talking about are little lessons for him week in and week out. There have been so many throughout this year that hopefully the growth will keep coming, and he’ll keep learning from these things.”

Kizer has had plenty of down moments this season—getting benched in games and losing his starting job to a now regularly inactive Kevin Hogan—but he's also had some ups. From a fantasy perspective, he's produced a few starting-quality performances and his four rushing touchdowns is tied for second-most in the league.

This week he faces the Bengals—the first team he gets to play against for the second time—so it will intriguing to see if he learned anything from their first meeting. The matchup is decent for Kizer, and if you're desperate for starting help in a 2QB/Superflex league his rushing abilities may bail you out, but he's only our 31st-ranked QB.

Montgomery also missed yesterday's practice, so it's looking like Jamaal Williams will be the team's No. 1 RB again this week versus the Steelers.

The matchup is a tough one for Williams versus the Steelers, according to our aFPA metric (ninth-toughest for RBs), but the volume he should see makes him a decent start this week.

In his last two games, Williams has averaged 19 carries. He also caught 4 passes last week, and the Steelers have allowed a running back to catch 4+ passes against them five times this season.

We have Williams ranked as our No. 17 RB in PPR leagues and our No. 27 RB in standard leagues.

Redskins RB Samaje Perine (finger) is questionable, but is expected to play.

Redskins TE Jordan Reed (hamstring) is out. Vernon Davis continues to be a great start.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard (migraine) did not practice on Wednesday and is questionable vs. the Redskins. Hopefully, we'll get an update tomorrow morning.

Chargers WRs Travis Benjamin (abdomen) and Mike Williams (knee) were both limited on Wednesday and questionable vs. Cowboys. Tyrell Williams is a decent dart throw if one or both are out.

Redskins WR Ryan Grant (calf) was limited on Wednesday and is questionable vs. the Giants.

Cowboys K Dan Baliey (groin) is listed as questionable but is expected to return this week.

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians: None of the guys on IR have made expected progress in rehab, so as of today, no one is expected to return this season.

The Raiders have fired defensive coordinator Ken Norton, per Mike Silver and Ian Rapoport.

John Pagano will take over the job. The Raiders have yet to intercept a pass this season and have just six takeaways in total.

TE Tyler Kroft reported with right hand injury.

Kroft did have a TD before he left but there isn't much information on the injury at this point. We'll know more Wednesday when injury reports come out.

Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard didn’t play in the team’s 12-9 overtime win over the Chiefs last Sunday as a result of migraine headaches that led the team to make him a Saturday addition to their injury report.

The Giants estimated that Shepard would have been a limited participant in practice on Monday, but things were different when they actually got on the field Tuesday. Shepard wasn’t spotted during the portion of practice open to the media and coach Ben McAdoo confirmed that Shepard didn’t work at all two days before the Giants will face the Redskins on Thanksgiving night.

McAdoo said, via multiple reporters, that Shepard is again “not feeling well” and that the team will look at all possibilities when it comes to finding a way for the wideout to feel better. Pete Carroll said on 710ESPNSeattle radio show it's "unlikely'' Mike Davis will be able to play Sunday at San Francisco.

As we said earlier today, the Seahawks will be limited to Lacy and Rawls in Week 12 for early-down work. Rawls was a healthy scratch in Week 11 but will now likely be back in the mix. McKissic probably has the most fantasy value, especially in PPR leagues.

There's another quarterback change up in Denver.

The Broncos are starting Paxton Lynch in Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and James Palmer reported.

This isn't really a surprise after the change in offensive coordinator Monday. Lynch may have some upside but the entire offense has struggled and their offensive line hasn't been very good, so it's hard to imagine Lynch performing any different than Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler. Still, the Broncos want to see what they have in Lynch, who gets a nice matchup against the Raiders in his first start.

General Manager John Lynch told Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area that he’s been happy with everything Hyde has brought to the team this year.

“Carlos has been fun to watch this year,” Lynch said. “He’s made a big-time commitment to the way we’re asking him to do things — the way [running backs coach] Bobby Turner and Kyle are asking him to do things. He’s walking around the building with a smile. He’s enjoying playing football. You have to if you’re going to have success in this game. We’re really pleased with the way Carlos is both behaving and playing.”

Hyde has run 141 times for 592 yards and four touchdowns to go with a career-high 42 receptions for 274 yards, which looks pretty good for a player who will be in the market for a new contract once the season comes to an end. Lynch’s comments suggest that the contract could come from the 49ers, although there’s a lot of time for things to work themselves out on that front.

Mike Zimmer says yes indeed Case Keenum will start at QB.

Bridgewater will have to wait at least another week. The Vikings have no reason to sit Keenum as the team continues to win games. The team travels to Detroit in Week 12 for the first game on Turkey Day.

Bruce Arians on if he still feels the same way about the receivers: “Yeah. Injuries are going to have some part of that, but it wouldn’t have mattered. Chad Williams is going to get his shot. He’s been practicing really, really well, just like Ricky Seals-Jones.”

Brown has a turf toe issue, as we reported yesterday, so it seems like it would be easy for the Cards to plug Williams into the rotation. For what it's worth, Seals-Jones caught two TD passes in last week's loss and may be a name to keep an eye on at TE as the Cards look toward the future.

JuJu Smith-Schuster has "small" hamstring injury.

The tweet went on to say Smith-Schuster will be monitored during week as far as his status for Week 12. The Steelers host Green Bay on Sunday night so owners planning to play JuJu will need a backup plan in place in case he doesn't go.

Skins WR Terrelle Pryor will end the year on injured reserve.

As Finlay added in his tweet, what a big disappointment his season has been for all parties involved. The team will move on with Crowder, Doctson and Grant as their top-three WRs.

Jerry Jones on 1053thefan: Sean Lee won't play Thursday, but Tyron Smith, Dan Bailey and Anthony Hitchens all have a chance to play vs. the Chargers.

The Sunday Night NBC crew also pointed out Bailey has a chance to play on Thanksgiving. If Bailey can't go, Nugent would likely be the team's kicker again.

Samaje Perine, the rookie fourth-round pick, is now the Redskins’ most experienced back.

Chris Thompson (leg) and Rob Kelley (ankle) both have been placed on injured reserve during the last week. Mack Brown, who opened on the active roster, had to be cut to make room for an offensive line dealing with injuries to four starters. Matt Jones was released in the final cuts. Keith Marshall tore his ACL early in training camp.

That leaves Perine. The Redskins signed Byron Marshall a week ago off Philadelphia’s practice squad. They do have LeShun Daniels on the practice squad and could promote him.

The story said Marshall is expected to play on third downs because he's a former WR and has experience running routes and catching passes. But, it's going to be tough to expect Marshall to help in pass blocking. Perine should get a majority of the early down runs from this point forward. The story pointed out that outside of two games, the Skins won't face a lot of tough rushing defenses which will surely make Perine a popular pickup off the wire this week.

The Seattle Seahawks backfield may have just taken another hit.

Running back Mike Davis, who was promoted to the team’s 53-man roster earlier this week when C.J. Prosise was placed on injured reserve, suffered an injury during the first possession of the third quarter of Seattle’s game against Atlanta.

Following a screen pass, Davis was seen on the Seahawks sideline being treated in the medical tent.

The Seahawks announced via their official Twitter account that Davis suffered a groin injury and will not return to Monday’s contest.

The Seahawks seem desperate to find a running back that isn't Rawls or Lacy, and Davis was next up on the list. Rawls was a healthy scratch vs. the Falcons, but it's looking like in Week 12 it will be Rawls and Lacy more involved in the run game if Davis is unable to go.

HC Sean McVay says WR Robert Woods will be out for a couple of weeks. Says, “That’s a significant loss for us.”

As we reported earlier, Woods' shoulder was in a sling following the game. They host a big one this week against the Saints and the loss of Woods will hurt. Watkins, Kupp and Austin could all see more snaps and targets with Woods out.

Andre Ellington's run with the Arizona Cardinals is over.

The Cardinals cut Ellington Monday, a day after the team made the running back a healthy scratch prior to its 31-21 loss to the Houston Texans.

The story thinks Ellington could get picked up somewhere for a team needing a change-of-pace or third-down back.

The Eagles survived without a kicker throughout most of Sunday’s 37-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys, and they now begin a week when Jake Elliott’s health will be an ongoing question while he recovers from a concussion.

Elliott remains the team’s top option at kicker. They have a potential Plan B in former starter Caleb Sturgis, but they’re still maintaining hope that Elliott is healthy enough to play this Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Coach Doug Pederson didn’t answer whether there’s another option they’d consider.

Elliott is in the protocol so the team's hands are tied for now. Sturgis is eligible to be activated to the 53-man roster as one of the team's two designated to return provisions. Sturgis is getting himself back to where he was before his injury, according to the story. However, if the team activates Sturgis, they would need to burn an extra roster spot or move on from Elliott.

OC Bill Musgrave won’t have a player the caliber of Oakland’s Derek Carr at his disposal as he prepares a game plan with the stated objective of completing more passes. HC Vance Joseph said Monday the Broncos have not decided on a quarterback for Sunday’s game at Oakland—that decision could come Tuesday—but it could be 2016 first-round draft pick Paxton Lynch, who would be making just his third career start.

A move to Lynch would make sense for a new coordinator coming into his first week of action. Osweiler and Trevor Siemian haven't played well behind a sketchy offensive line so it may also be a struggle for Lynch, too, if he's named the starter.

Hue Jackson's Christmas season will start the day before Thanksgiving this year.

It's the day Josh Gordon will practice with the team for the first time since last preseason.

"It's like Christmas,'' said Jackson. "I get to open a new toy. I know what's in that box, but I just want to see how good it is. It's exciting that he'll be back out there."

On Monday, the first day Gordon was eligible to practice with the team instead of on his own, he spent some time catching passes with DeShone Kizer and the other quarterbacks. Jackson said he's very eager to add him to the lineup for the final five games, beginning Dec. 3 in Los Angeles against the Chargers.

Panthers TE Greg Olsen: The plan is still to play Sunday.

Olsen has been a popular stash player on rosters over the last few weeks with the anticipation of his return this week. And it looks like that will be the case. Be sure to check our rankings and projected points as injured players returning their first week sometimes need a week to get back to form so Olsen may come with some risks.

O'Brien says he's "unsure" right now if Will Fuller V will be available for MNF game at Baltimore.

Fuller and the Texans play on Monday night so Fuller will be risky to wait on if you need him in your lineup. On top of that, he just hasn't been productive the last few weeks since Deshaun Watson went down for the season and Tom Savage took over.

The Bears brought Cairo Santos in for a physical last Thursday and he returned Monday to sign a contract as the replacement for Connor Barth.

An NFL source told the Tribune Santos is at Halas Hall and has a one-year deal in place to become the team’s new kicker with six games remaining in the regular season.

Bills HC Sean McDermott on the starting QB: We're still evaluating that right now. We'll take it one day at a time.

McDermott: no ligament damage for Kelvin Benjamin's knee. Still evaluating further.

The story we posted Sunday, from the San Diego Union-Tribune, speculated Benjamin may have hyperextended his knee based on a replay. Considering the team said there is no ligament damage, that could certainly be the case, but his Week 12 status is up in the air at this point.

Cardinals WR John Brown has turf toe, coach Bruce Arians said.

The tweet added Arians said Brown could miss time so it's something to monitor. It's a tough matchup this week against the Jags. Jaron Brown and Nelson would move up the pecking order if John Brown is out.

Arians: Blaine Gabbert will start again this week. Stick with him until Drew Stanton totally healthy.

Gabbert had a real nice game in Week 11 despite a loss. While Arians said Stanton gave the team the best chance to win, there seemed to be a push by fans and media to start Gabbert and see if there is any potential. The Cards host the Jags in a later afternoon game in Week 12.

Bucs Dirk Koetter says the medical staff re-evaluated Jameis Winston and he is not cleared to throw. Will be out this week at least.

Fitzpatrick will again get the start and has led the Bucs to two straight wins. Earlier reports made it seem like the Bucs are in no hurry to rush back Winston with Fitz playing well.

The Indianapolis Colts anticipate quarterback Jacoby Brissett being available for Sunday’s meeting with the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Although Brissett remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol, he went through a Monday morning practice without incident.

HC Chuck Pagano said he expects Brissett to play and he "should be OK" the story went on to say.

The Broncos' losing streak now has its first casualty.

Denver has fired offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of the move.

Adam Schefter reports the team promoted Bill Musgrave to the OC position. The Broncos are struggling at QB as well as the offensive line, so it's hard to expect Musgrave to come right in and work miracles. Paxton Lynch was the backup to Brock Osweiler Sunday and Trevor Siemian was inactive so it's possible starting Lynch at QB could be another change the team makes.

Browns coach Hue Jackson benched quarterback DeShone Kizer in a couple of games earlier this season and gave Kevin Hogan the start in another, but Kizer’s four turnovers against the Jaguars in Sunday’s 19-7 loss won’t lead to another change.

Jackson said immediately after the loss that Kizer will start against the Bengals on Sunday and the five games to follow because the Browns need to have as much data on Kizer as possible when it comes to addressing the position in the offseason.

The Browns feel they need to continue to see Kizer and let him play this season out to see exactly what they have in him for the future. As long as Kizer is healthy, it looks like he'll be under center.

The Bucs plan is to re-evaluate Jameis Winston (shoulder) this week and if he’s good to go they may have a tough decision to make regarding whether to throw him back into the lineup or stay with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The story said there could be a controversy brewing here as Fitz has led them to two straight wins while Winston was not having a good season before being shut down. There seems to be no reason to rush Winston back right now.

Rams receiver Robert Woods left the locker room with a sling on his left arm after suffering a shoulder injury during the fourth quarter of a 24-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Rams coach Sean McVay said that he was uncertain about the severity of Woods’ injury. The Rams host a huge, later afternoon game on Sunday against the Saints, so owners will have to monitor the situation this week.

There were several times during Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns that Leonard Fournette said he felt throbbing pain in his right ankle.

Still, it didn’t stop him from rambling through the middle of the Browns’ defense, even though he came out the Jaguars’ 19-7 victory a few times because of his ankle.

After rushing for a season-low 33 yards last week against the Los Angeles Chargers, Fournette bounced back with a productive 111-yard performance on 28 carries in cold, rain and snowy conditions at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Fournette was listed as questionable to play. He tweaked his ankle last Sunday against the Chargers, was limited during practices on both Wednesday and Thursday, and then held out on Friday. Fournette was quoted as saying the best way for it to heal is to rest but he doesn't have the time for that. Fournette could miss some practices or be limited but it looks like he's going to try and play through the injury.

“It’s going to be hard to yank him out of there right now,” coach Mike Zimmer acknowledged about QB Case Keenum.

This shouldn’t be a conversation anymore. Keenum continues to look unflappable in the face of this unique situation. He’s handled constant questions about his job status with patience. He doesn’t appear bothered by Teddy Bridgewater’s presence over his shoulder or a popular public opinion that the team is waiting for him to fail to make a switch.

Keenum again played well in the Vikings win over the Rams, a team they could be battling with for home field advantage and even a bye. Anything can happen, but it doesn't appear the team is going to make a switch as long as Keenum is winning games.

Jeffery popped up on the injury report with an ankle injury, but wasn't really in doubt for this game. Smallwood, meanwhile, is the odd man out now that the team brought in Jay Ajayi.

Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin was hit on the right knee on a run after the catch in the first quarter Sunday. He left the game and it was announced quickly that he would not return.

The story said, by video, the injury appeared to be a hyperextension. There was, however, only one angle. The best-case scenario is a hyperextension sprain and possible bone bruise with ligaments spared. The worst-case is an ACL and/or MCL injury. Earlier this year, Benjamin had an ugly hyperflexion injury on his right knee and ended up playing the next week, the story all said.

Texans RB Donta Foreman is believed to have torn his Achilles.

As Rapoport added, it's terrible luck for Houston. Foreman actually was injured scoring on a TD. Blue looks like he'll take over as the backup to Miller and Todman moves up a spot on the depth chart.

Amendola was limited all week with a knee issue but will play against the Raiders. Amendola's snaps did not spike last week with Hogan out so no reason to think it would happen this week with Hogan out again. Gillislee is again out which should be good news for Rex Burkhead who has seemed to take over early-down work.

Skins RB Chris Thompson got rolled up on blocking on a scramble by Kirk Cousins. He was carted off with what appeared to be a significant right knee injury.

This didn't look good and Thompson was visibly upset by the turn of events. Trainers placed an air cast on his leg. We'll continue to update but owners probably need to prepare to be without Thompson for the foreseeable future.

Miami is going back to Matt Moore.

Starting quarterback Jay Cutler left the Dolphins' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is being evaluated for a concussion, according to the team. Moore replaced Cutler to start the third quarter.

Cutler did throw three interceptions in this game in the first half, so even if he is cleared to return, the Dolphins may opt to stick with Moore.

Matthews was questionable coming into this game but won't be able to go because of his knee injury. It's good news for Clay owners as he's active this week. Keep in mind Peterman gets the start at QB.

Seahawks RB Eddie Lacy (groin) does not have an injury designation on the injury report this week, and he will play Week 11. Lacy turned in two full practices Friday and Saturday and is good to go after missing last week.

The Seahawks running game has not only been a committee but an inefficient committee all year with little fantasy value. Seattle wanted to give Lacy the bulk of the carries two weeks ago, and it looked like they were on there way to doing that before an injury early in the game. Look for that to continue again, but this is still a committee most likely.

Devonta Freeman has been ruled out for Monday Night Football against Seattle with a concussion. He has not cleared the concussion protocol.

Expect Tevin Coleman to approach bell cow fantasy volume in Week 11 after getting 21 touches in relief last week. This is the moment his owners have been waiting for. This is why we draft backup running backs—it’s a fragile position and Coleman’s owners should enjoy good production this week, even if Seattle isn’t a great matchup (No. 10 in RB aFPA).

The Ravens have activated Danny Woodhead from Injured Reserve, and he is now on the active roster.

It remains to be seen if Woodhead will be active or inactive tomorrow, but it appears he is set to make his return after catching three passes in the first quarter of Week 1 before going down with a hamstring injury. If he is active, check back after noon eastern tomorrow to see where Senior Editor John Paulsen has Woodhead ranked.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard added to the injury report with an illness. He's now listed as questionable vs Chiefs.

This will require monitoring by fantasy owners before inactives come out on Sunday, as Shepard is, at worst, a WR2 this week after a monstrous 11 receptions for 142 yards last week. He's a target machine with Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall on IR. Shepard has 22 targets in his past two games. The good news is Shepard has an early kickoff on Sunday, giving fantasy owners more options if he were to be inactive.

The Seahawks defense loses another key player. Per Mike Garafolo, strong safety Kam Chancellor is likely done for the season with a neck injury.

The Seahawks fearsome fantasy defense is now down two of its best players for the rest of the season in Chancellor and cornerback Richard Sherman (Achilles). The Seahawks only have one more good or great matchup from Week 11-16, if you use our aFPA vs. DEF rankings—Week 12 against the 49ers. This is still the Seattle defense, though, but it will be curious to see how they perform against the Falcons defense Monday night without these two big cogs in the defense.

Chargers announce Philip Rivers has been cleared to play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills by an independent neurological consultant.

Philip Rivers has been below-average for more than a month now, averaging just 13.9 fantasy points in his last four games. He faces a Buffalo team that has been gashed recently on the ground, meaning this could be more of a Melvin Gordon game for the Chargers. Plus, Buffalo is top-10 in our aFPA vs. QB rankings. In 1-QB leagues, it's best to bench Rivers this week.
