Mixon hasn't played since Week 6 against Indy, dealing with a foot injury. While he didn't light up the fantasy scoreboard most weeks, he did average 19 carries a game. He averaged 71 rushing yards a game but most of that came from a 151-yard performance against the Jags. His second highest rushing total was 69 yards in Week 1. He averaged 3.5 catches a game as well, which came with QB Joe Burrow under center. It will be tough to trust Mixon in 2021 but with Burrow back and the volume Mixon got this season, he'll likely be a highly-desired fantasy pick once again next summer.
CIN RB Joe Mixon - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 10 at Pittsburgh
Joe Mixon has not played since October 18th. Many thought he would return this week, but his status is still up in the air. He did not practice on Thursday. If he is deemed ready to go, he will probably get enough of a workload to have fantasy value.
Mixon will face the Steelers who are ranked 12th in aFPA to running backs. Pittsburgh has had trouble in recent weeks stopping the run so if Mixon plays, he should have some success.
Mixon ranks an RB2 if he suits up. But keep an eye on the injury report. If he does play, expect 15-18 touches. If the Bengals think he can't handle that, they might opt to let him rest another week.
