Falcons WR Julio Jones (ankle) returns to practice on Friday

Jones returned to practice on Friday after missing the previous two practice sessions earlier in the week.

Fantasy Impact:

This is good news for Jones and his fantasy owners. Jones has a great matchup this week versus the Cowboys, according to our aFPA metric, and we have him ranked as the No. 2 WR in PPR leagues and as the No. 3 WR in standard leagues.

When asked about the quiet games Brandin Cooks and he put up, Randall Cobb responded ""In the passing game, it takes a lot to build that chemistry and that trust. It'll come. It's a matter of when. Obviously, we've got to have that urgency moving forward."

Fantasy Impact:

Cobb disappointed in his Texans debut as Houston was pounded by the Kansas City Chiefs. Watson will be the receiver to run short and intermediate routes, routes that Watson need to be ran so he has a safety valve with the team's porous offensive line. Look for him to rebound Week 2 in another higher scoring game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fann: This could be a game where Greg Olsen shines

JoeFann of NBC Sports Northwest believes Greg Olsen could have a prominent role in Seattle's offensive scheme Sunday against the New England Patriots. "D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett feasted in Week 1, catching a combined 12 passes for 187 yards and a touchdown," wrote Fann. "They’ll have a much tougher time getting open on Sunday against the talented corner duo of Jackson and Gilmore."

"That leads me to believe that this could be a game where Greg Olsen shines. Pete Carroll said after the win in Atlanta that Olsen will have games where he catches 8-10 passes. This one would certainly seem like a game where Olsen has the more favorable matchup compared to Lockett and Metcalf."

Fantasy Impact:

Olsen will have to produce against the Patriots' excellent secondary for Seattle to win. Pete Carroll and the Seahawks prefer an up-tempo pace and have to connect through the air to keep their pace of play. The tight end position has had injuries burden the position already this season, so Olsen finishing as a TE1 is not a surprising thought.

Aiyuk 'fully engaged' in practice last few days

49ers rookie WR Brandon Aiyuk has been fully engaged in practice last few days, according to Lowell Cohen. Aiyuk is expected to make his team debut Sunday against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Impact:

The 49ers coveted Aiyuk during the draft process and have to be eager to get him on the field. Aiyuk should bring WR 4/5 production Sunday with upside as a WR3.
