Coutee returned to practice Monday but doesn't look like he'll be ready for Week 1. As talked about Monday, if Coutee can stay on the field he could be a solid WR3 fantasy option assuming he sees seven-plus targets a game. But right now he can't get on the field. Carter and Smith look to be next up on the depth chart.
HOU WR DeAndre Carter - Week 18 Fantasy Football Outlook
Wild Card vs. Indianapolis Colts
With injuries to Demaryius Thomas and Keke Coutee, DeAndre Carter was the Texans No. 2 WR to close out the regular season. While he’s yet to find the end zone, in the past three weeks he’s been a decent contributor, averaging four receptions for 50 yards. Carter will continue to play second fiddle to the other DeAndre (Hopkins), so it’s advised to keep him off your playoff fantasy roster.
