Smith-Schuster only played one full game with Ben Roethlisberger last season, but he caught six passes for 78 yards on eight targets. Over the last two seasons, in 18 games in which Roethlisberger also played, Smith-Schuster averaged 6.8 catches for 88 yards and 0.39 touchdowns on 10.1 targets per game. That’s a 109-catch pace and high-end WR1 numbers. After a subpar 2019 campaign in which he was a victim of his team’s quarterback situation (but also proved unable to elevate it), Smith-Schuster is primed for a bounceback season provided Roethlisberger can stay healthy.
