The New York Giants will take the field without Eli Manning starting under center for the first time since 2004.
The team announced Tuesday that Geno Smith will start at quarterback Sunday in Oakland versus the Raiders. Coach Ben McAdoo said rookie Davis Webb will also play, if not in Week 13, then some point before the end of the season.

Manning was given the chance to start to keep his streak alive but then give way to Smith and/or Webb, but Manning declined that option. It's not necessarily a huge fantasy story as much as it is a football story. It seems like Manning's days in New York are coming to an end. Smith doesn't offer much fantasy hope, and you can look at it as a downgrade to Engram and Shepard, the team's top two targets.
