The 49ers are dealing with yet another injury concern.

Via multiple reporters, running back Christian McCaffrey is sitting out of Monday’s practice due to what the club termed “tightness.”

Fantasy Impact:

The specifics of the tightness or when McCaffrey might get back on the field have not yet been disclosed, according to the story. Any time one of the top RBs in fantasy drafts has to sit out, it's worth noting, but especially for CMC, who has dealt with his share of injuries. And, it drives home the fact you may want to target CMC's handcuff in drats. That appeared to be James, but he's dealing with a rib injury, while the rookie Black has also missed time in camp. Guerendo looks like the next guy up at this point, but it could be a fluid situation by the time your draft rolls around. It's worth keeping an eye on this RB depth chart if you are, or plan to be, a McCaffrey owner.

It seems to be a good sign that Boston could have a fantasy-relevant role on the Browns this year, alongside of top pick KC Concepcion. The positive press has been steady for both receivers and it looks like both will be in the mix, along with Jeudy, as the top WRs on the Browns. The negative, however, is still the QB situation, and that's likely to be the only thing holding back any of the Browns receivers. Both rookie WRs could make for nice depth pieces in your drafts this year, with the potential to climb your team's fantasy depth chart after a few weeks.

Sources: The Patriots have agreed to terms with their standout TE Hunter Henry on a 2-year contract extension.

Fantasy Impact:

As Rapoport said, it makes it likely that Henry finishes his career with the Pats. Henry had one year remaining on his contract. We rank Henry 16th among out TEs but we like his value a lot when it comes to draft time, he's finished as TE9 and TE12 the last two seasons.

Bears WR Luther Burden (groin) to miss about a month

Luther Burden is expected to miss about a month after suffering a groin injury in practice on Saturday, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS. The Bears’ regular-season opener is a little more than a month away on September 13, which means if all goes according to plan, Burden will be on the field.

This groin injury will be a setback that keeps him off the practice field and out of the preseason, but shouldn’t keep him off the field when the season starts.

Fantasy Impact:

The Bears are optimistic Burden can play in Week 1 against the Panthers, which is great news, but we're also a bit away from knowing that for sure. Either way, it seems like Burden will be back early enough in the process to keep his fantasy value in tact as we head toward draft day. Last year Burden caught 47 passes as a rookie and as the story said, Bears head coach Ben Johnson recently praised Burden’s competitiveness and spoke as if he’s expecting a very big season from Burden in year two where he seems set to take on a bigger role in the offense. We agree, and rank Burden 25th among our WRs, giving him lower end WR2 value.
