We ranked Perriman as the team's third WR in our rankings, but with him gone, it now opens up a spot for the WR3 spot behind Williams and St. Brown. While it's not a highly-desired fantasy option, it could mean those next up on the depth chart, Cephus, Allison or Raymond, could have a bit of a larger role.
DET WR Kalif Raymond - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 2 at Packers
Raymond surprisingly led the way for this Lions wideouts, catching 3-of-4 targets for 50 yards. Raymond led the team with a 75% snap rate, so it appears that he's the most reliable wide receiver out of this group, which isn't really saying much. The target distribution is likely to be funneled among T.J. Hockenson, D'Andre Swift, and Jamaal Williams this season. It'll be tough to determine which Lions wideout will make an impact on a given week.
Raymond will have to go up against a Packers defense that ranked 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers last season. Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is one of the best in the NFL, so this is a tough matchup here. The only thing Raymond has going for him in this matchup is that the Lions will likely be pass-heavy once again. We can safely leave Raymond on the waiver wire for now, but keep an eye out on his usage.
