The fourth-year tight end had a great season, racking up 719 yards and six touchdowns on 73 catches, but there is reason for concern heading into 2024. The Bears added target-hog Keenan Allen and drafted Rome Odunze in the first round, and that means Kmet is likely to be the fourth option (at best) instead of the second option behind D.J. Moore. The Bears also signed Gerald Everett, who could eat into Kmet’s targets as well.

Fantasy Impact:

This signing absolutely muddies the water for Kmet's fantasy outlook, but is a great addition for their eventual rookie quarterback and the offense as a whole. With the influx of talent at the tight end position, there's no reason to target Everett or Kmet in typical 1TE redraft leagues this summer, though either one should remain on best ball radars.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Cole Kmet found the end zone last week as he finished 5-23-1 on seven targets. Kmet has now finished with at least five receptions in six of his last seven games, averaging 47.3 yards in that span. However this week he faces a Cardinals defense that's given up the 3rd-fewest total receptions to TEs this season. The Cardinals (11th aFPA) aren't the best matchup, but Kmet should continue to be a reception-friendly tight end in Week 16. He's a top 10 option at his position this week.
