Draft note
by John Paulsen
As a rookie, Kmet played fewer than 50% of the snaps in his first nine games and averaged 0.9 targets per game. In his final seven games, he played 70%+ snaps in every game and averaged 5.1 targets per game (producing 3.1-23-0.14 per game). He should play starter’s snaps for the Bears in 2021 and has breakout potential, though when Jimmy Graham is healthy, he’ll still be soaking up end zone targets.

CHI TE Cole Kmet - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Cleveland Browns

After a decent Week 1, Cole Kmet had a letdown of a Week 2 as he finished with one target which ended up as a catch for no yards. He technically had two targets, but one got called back due to a penalty. Both of his looks were from Justin Fields, who starts this week for the Bears, but it's not a good sign to see Kmet 72% of the offensive snaps and finish with no yards. He should finish with more than just a single catch this week, but he's outside of our top 15 tight ends for the week. Although he does face a favorable Browns defense that's allowed two touchdowns to TEs so far this season.
