Despite missing a few games due to suspension, Alvin Kamara finished RB11 and had the sixth-highest per-game average. In 2022, he turned in an RB20 finish with the 19th-highest per-game average. He’s turning 29 years old this summer, so the production cliff is looming, but given the makeup of the Saints’ backfield, Kamara is likely to see a heavy workload again in 2024.

Saints RB Kendre Miller is expected to begin the year on injured reserve, making the position a bit more of a concern entering the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Most of the RB duties are likely to fall on Kamara and Williams. The team also let go James Robinson, leaving Mims as the perhaps the team's RB3. It's possible the Saints will have to make another move at RB before the start of the season.

Alvin Kamara as a home favorite has always been a solid play. He might not be the same Kamara of old, but we still have him ranked as RB16 this week. In his career, as a home favorite, Kamara averages over 20 PPR points.

That might be a stretch for this weekend if he doesn't find the end zone, but this is a solid matchup in a game they should win easily. Kamara is in play in all formats.
