The Pats have been trying to get Sanu for a while according to various stories. He's a real solid addition to the receiving group, and if anything, it puts a dent in the fantasy value of Dorsett, Meyers and Harry going forward. Sanu had 50 catches and 650 yards receiving each of the last three seasons with 33 catches and 313 yards this season. It's another nice target for Tom Brady.
For the Falcons, it could mean a bump in snaps and production for Ridley who was playing on about 71% this year, while also opening the door for more time for guys like Hardy and Gage who look to be next up on the Falcons depth chart.
ATL WR Justin Hardy - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 8 vs. Seattle Seahawks
Hardy finished Week 7 with two receptions on two targets for 19 scoreless yards, 6% of the team targets, and 6% of the team air yards.
Hardy will benefit from the absence of Mohamed Sanu, who was traded to the Patriots. Sanu averaged six targets per game. 4for4’s rankings expert, John Paulsen, has Hardy ranked the half PPR WR74. Better streaming options should be available on the waiver wire.
