Meyers saw 23.6% of the targets, 25.4% of the receptions and 27.3% of the yards last season as Patriots’ leading receiver. The team added Nelson Agholor, Jonnu Smith, Hunter Henry and Kendrick Bourne this offseason, so he obviously has more competition for targets, though reports indicate that he has been the best and most consistent receiver in camp. Three different beat writers (Jeff Howe, Tom Curran and Andrew Callahan) confirmed that Meyers has been the standout. Another indicator in his favor: His 2.24 yard per route run was the 12th-best among the 112 eligible receivers at PFF. Now that Mac Jones has been named the starter, Meyers could turn into an every-week fantasy starter.
