Going backward, Ertz has finished TE5, TE2 and TE3 over the last three seasons. His catches dipped from 7.3 per game in 2018 to 5.9 per game last year, which is my main concern about his outlook in 2020. The Eagles added Jalen Reagor, Dallas Goedert continues to progress, and DeSean Jackson should be back, so there are more mouths to feed in Philly. If Ertz slips into the late-fifth/early-sixth, he’ll be a value, but I no longer feel confident enough in his workload to recommend him as a third-round pick.
