Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion, ankle) practiced fully Wednesday. Hoyer will play against the Jaguars. He’s a Sneaky Start in a great matchup and the Texans need a win to stay alive in the playoff hunt. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in seven of his last nine games.

Browns QB Johnny Manziel (concussion) did not practice Wednesday. Manziel is iffy, so Austin Davis may get the start this week.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Zach Mettenberger will start for the Titans.

Bengals QB AJ McCarron (left wrist) took limited practice reps Wednesday. McCarron is expected to play against the Ravens.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (illness) did not practice Wednesday. No worries here.

Bears RB Matt Forte (back) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Forte was dealing with a bad back late in Week 16. Jeremy Langford is shaping up as a Sneaky Start with Forte ailing.

Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. This is a new injury for Freeman, but limited reps this early in the week are a good sign for his Week 17 availability.

Jets RB Chris Ivory (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Ivory missed some snaps in Week 16 but returned to finish the game.

Redskins RB Matt Jones (hip) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Washington is locked into its playoff position, so Jones may not play in Week 17. Alfred Morris figures to get most of the carries unless the team decides to rest him as well.

Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Lacy was seen holding his ribs after scoring a touchdown against the Cardinals.

Bills RB LeSean McCoy (knee) did not practice Wednesday. McCoy is looking very iffy with the knee injury, so Karlos Williams and Mike Gillislee will once again share the work in the Buffalo backfield. Williams out-touched Gillislee 19-to-11 in Week 16, but Gillislee outgained Williams 109-to-97.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder) did not practice Wednesday. Contrary to other reports, Peterson was dealing with a shoulder injury last week as well. He should be fine for a big game against the Packers.

Texans RB Chris Polk (knee) practiced fully Wednesday.

Jets RB Bilal Powell (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Powell hasn’t been on the injury report in the last five weeks, but dealt with an ankle injury earlier in the year.

Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (foot) did not practice Wednesday. It appears that Stewart will remain out. With Fozzy Whittaker also out, Cameron Artis-Payne should see the bulk of the touches with Mike Tolbert serving in a complementary role.

Redskins RB Pierre Thomas (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Thomas should be able to play against the Cowboys.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday.

Panthers RB Fozzy Whittaker (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Yeldon is not expected to return this week. According to beat writer Michael DiRocco, Jaguars OC Greg Olson said that “the plan is to get a good look at RB Jonas Gray” in Sunday’s finale. Denard Robinson has only gained 48 rushing yards on 20 carries in favorable matchups over the last two weeks, so it’s not surprising that the team wants to evaluate Gray, who had success while playing for the Patriots.

Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Amendola was limited all last week and then didn’t play against the Jets, so we’ll see if he can get a full practice in before increasing our expectations for Week 17.

Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday.

Browns WR Travis Benjamin (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Steelers WR Martavis Bryant (illness) did not practice Wednesday. Bryant should be fine by Sunday.

Saints WR Marques Colston (chest) did not practice Wednesday.

Jets WR Eric Decker (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. Decker should continue to play through the sore knee.

Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Edelman was limited last week and didn’t suit up.

Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Washington may rest their key players, and D-Jax certainly qualifies.

Lions WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Johnson said that he will play against the Bears on Sunday. In his last four games against Chicago, he has averaged 7.3 receptions for 125 yards and 1.3 TD.

Bengals WR Marvin Jones (hamstring) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Jones should be able to play through the hamstring injury.

Patriots WR Brandon LaFell (foot) took limited practice reps Wednesday. LaFell has been disappointing given his opportunity in the New England passing game, but he should be able to continue to play through the foot injury.

Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Landry should continue to play through the knee injury.

Jets WR Brandon Marshall (ankle) practiced fully Wednesday. No worries here.

Bears TE Zachary Miller (toe) did not practice Wednesday. This is a new injury for Miller, who was dealing with a rib injury earlier in the month. We’ll keep an eye on his status, but if he’s active, he’s a TE1 given his solid production in recent weeks.

Cowboys TE Jason Witten (chest) practiced fully Wednesday.

Eagles K Caleb Sturgis (right hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday.

The Bills opened up a pair of roster spots Tuesday placing CB Ron Brooks and TE Charles Clay to injured reserve.

Clay has missed the last two games with a back injury suffered in Week 14 at Philadelphia. He finished his first season with the Bills with 51 catches for 528 yards and three touchdowns.

While the rumors of both Drew Brees and Sean Payton possibly being on the way out of New Orleans are swirling, the signal caller for the Saints wants no part of them. To put it simply, Brees isn't buying into the fact that he or Payton are going anywhere anytime soon.

When asked about whether Brees could see a scenario in which he and Payton aren't back in New Orleans, he didn't skip a beat.

"No, I don't," he said. "I think we -- a plan was put in place throughout last offseason as to how we were going to build a foundation by which to make a run at it in the future. That includes some new faces, that includes some young players that, I think, will all have a chance to come together and kind of build a team that can make a run at it in the future.

"Unfortunately, we had high expectations going into this year and we fell a bit short. But I'm confident with the character, the leadership, the talent we have."

The Ravens, who are finishing their 20th season in Baltimore, now have 20 players on season-ending injured reserve.

They reached that number on Tuesday, when they officially placed wide receiver Marlon Brown on I.R., ending his disappointing season.

With just one healthy quarterback on the roster in Stephen Morris, the Indianapolis Colts added depth at the position with the signing of veteran Josh Freeman. The team announced the move on Tuesday.

The 17th overall selection in the 2009 draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Freeman has played in 61 career games, including 60 starts. He spent training camp with the Miami Dolphins this season before being waived at the end of the preseason. Most recently, Freeman played with Fall Experimental Football League's Brooklyn Bolts.

The reunion was short-lived one for the San Diego Chargers and receiver Vincent Brown.

The Chargers announced on Tuesday that they have released the five-year pro.

Signed on Dec. 8, Brown was active his first week with the Chargers, finishing with one catch for 22 yards in a 10-3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Brown was inactive for the last two games, with the Chargers playing developmental receivers in Dontrelle Inman and Tyrell Williams.

The New Orleans Saints are signing tight end RaShaun Allen from the practice squad to the active roster, a league source told NOLA.com.

Allen, 25, signed with the Saints' practice squad on Nov. 10 after spending most 2014 and 2015 with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Saints must make a corresponding move to add Allen to the roster. His promotion could mean that tight end Josh Hill is going on the injured-reserve list after leaving Sunday's game with an injury. Hill appeared to undergo concussion testing on the sidelines.

The Dallas Cowboys have many needs for 2016, but owner and general manager Jerry Jones reiterated finding a quarterback is at the top of the list.

Backups Brandon Weeden, Matt Cassel and Kellen Moore have combined to go 1-10 this season after starter Tony Romo suffered a broken left collarbone twice this season. Jones has acknowledged the front office handled the backup spot entering the season poorly.

“We’re going to try to all the ways – all ways – to come up with a way to get Tony a backup, while at the same time looking toward the future,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas on Tuesday. “Some people would say that’s dreaming. Everybody wants that, but we have a high draft pick, obviously. We're earned it, and we've got it. If we evaluate and get an opportunity to get a couple of players there, we got to look at it hard.”

Jones said he had a conversation with Romo about the future of the position on Saturday night in Buffalo. He has said he believes Romo, who turns 36 in April, has a 3-5 year window left at playing at a high level. The Cowboys have not drafted a quarterback since 2009 (Stephen McGee, fourth round) and have not selected a quarterback in the first round since Troy Aikman in 1989. They took Steve Walsh with a first-round pick in the 1989 compensatory draft as well.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo broke his left collarbone twice this season and he’s done it three times over the course of his career, leading him to consider ways that he can protect himself against suffering the same injury again in the future.

During an interview on 1310 The Ticket, Romo said that one of the possibilities up for discussion is attaching a plate to his collarbone during a surgical procedure.

“We have a few ideas of what we can do with the collarbone,” Romo said, via the Dallas Morning News. “There are a few plans. We’re going to pick out the CT scan and some of the other stuff and see how much calcification has taken and whether it’s gotten to a point where we feel like it’s really strong and it will be able to handle some of the normal hits you take. But we’re going to have a good plan. If we have to put a plate in there, something small, we’ll do that. That should ensure that that doesn’t happen, or the percentage of that goes way, way down. From my perspective, I feel very strongly about the way that I’m going to be able to play going forward.”

The prospect of another injury is one that has to concern the Cowboys given how quickly their season went down the tubes once Romo was injured and that has led to discussion about drafting a quarterback early in next year’s draft, the story said.

In an interview Tuesday on NFL Network, Drew Brees said he doesn't think there is any scenario in which either he or coach Sean Payton won't be back with the New Orleans Saints next season.

With the team set for its second straight losing season and facing significant salary-cap constraints, there has been much speculation surrounding the future of both longtime Saints.

"A plan was put in place throughout last offseason as to how we were going to build a foundation to make a run at it in the future," Brees said. "That includes new faces, includes young players. I think we are all having a chance to come together and build what will be a team that will really make a run for it."

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham saw his late-season progress hit a roadblock during Sunday's 34-6 loss to the Houston Texans.

Green-Bekham, who had more than 100 yards receiving in two of the three games prior, was held without a catch on three targets.

Tennessee interim head coach Mike Mularkey attributed Green-Beckham's ineffectiveness to a combination of Houston's defensive tactics along with rookie mistakes.

“Some of it was the coverage,” Mularkey said. “They were playing a coverage that you could roll a corner and a safety over the top on him.

“Some of that was Dorial with some of the mistake he made. He had a number of mistakes on splits and depths and things that he’s had, again, that a young receiver is going to have, Tre McBride included. But some of that is self-inflicted that we need to get better at."

Green-Beckham caught six passes for 113 yards in the Week 15 loss to the New England Patriots. He caught five passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in Tennessee's Week 13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. DGB struggled much of the season with his patterns and it sometimes led to turnovers, but as of late it seemed like he was turning the corner. In his defense, there were a lot of no-shows on the Titans in Week 16 and he'll certainly have some fantasy value heading into 2016 with a healthy Marcus Mariota under center.

The biggest shift in the Broncos offense Monday night was the re-emergence of the no huddle offense, an asset that was prevalent when Peyton Manning was the starting quarterback.

Denver went to it late in the second quarter leading to their first points. It appeared again in the third and fourth quarters with more success.

After looking overwhelmed by the Bengals’ defensive line for much of the first half, the Broncos’ transition to the no huddle allowed its offensive line to play with more push and kept Cincinnati on their heels.

“It caught them off guard a lot,” running back C.J. Anderson. “That’s not a Kubiak-style offense that they’re used to seeing. We kind of went back into what we’ve done in previous years and good thing we all knew it.”

Only one kicker -- Jacksonville's Jason Myers -- has missed more extra points than Buffalo Bills kicker Dan Carpenter this season.

Sure, the NFL has made it tougher on kickers to convert the point-after attempt, which is now a not-so-certain 33-yard kick. But Carpenter's five misses, including one in Sunday's 16-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys, should be a point of concern for the Bills.

But will it impact Carpenter's status with the team next season?

"Well I think with anybody -- and this is any player -- what you look to do is, regardless of the position, you are going to look to give your team the best possibility of being successful," coach Rex Ryan said Monday. "Dan [Carpenter] has had a history being successful kicking here, so that is something you can’t ignore also. Has he struggled this year? Yes, he has.

"But I think -- you know, I don’t see Lou 'The Toe' Groza coming in. If that happens, then OK. We will see what happens."

Ryan's response seemed to indicate some pause about keeping Carpenter as the kicker for next season, although it would take a worthy replacement to push him off the roster, the story indicated.

When Pierre Thomas signed with the Washington Redskins a little more than two weeks ago, he talked about the energy he felt in the locker room.

The nine-year veteran running back, who spent eight seasons with the New Orleans Saints and won a Super Bowl title, said he saw a team on the cusp of success with a laser-narrowed focus. With a little hope, Thomas thought, he’d be able to impart some leadership on this team to help them achieve their goal of making the playoffs, and in the process, prove he could still play.

Both of those things happened on Saturday night as the Redskins beat the Eagles, 38-24, to clinch the NFC East title at Lincoln Financial Field. Thomas caught seven catches for 67 yards and rushed for 22 yards on four carries.

That puts him on the fantasy radar at least in PPR leagues as Chris Thompson is battling injuries. The Redskins aren't sure if they will rest their starters in Week 17 but given Thomas' lack of playing time in the system, he could still get some work.

The Bills made it official on Monday moving WR Marcus Easley to injured reserve in the wake of his severe knee injury suffered Sunday in the win over Dallas. Claimed off waivers to fill the void left by Easley the Bills were awarded WR Leonard Hankerson.

Hankerson (6-2, 211) was most recently with the New England Patriots, who was claimed off waivers following his release by the Atlanta Falcons. The former third-round pick of the Washington Redskins (2011) was placed on injured reserve by Atlanta in early December with a hamstring injury, but was waived a week later in an injury settlement.

Marcus Mariota took some dropbacks Monday at less than full speed and the Tennessee Titans will assess the quarterback and his injured right knee as the week moves along.

But it appears unlikely the rookie quarterback will return to action for the season finale at Indianapolis.

“He did some things today that we hoped he would do and we’ll see how he feels from it tomorrow,” interim coach Mike Mularkey said. “... His health is No. 1 for us. He’s got a such a great future ahead of him. He’s got plenty of games, lots of games to go. We won’t expose him, at all, if there is anything there...

“Any bit of doubt, he will not play.”

Mularkey said he expects receiver Kendall Wright, who left the loss to Houston early with a knee injury, to practice Wednesday at least in limited fashion.

Steven Jackson still has something left in the tank to help the New England Patriots in their playoff push but remains a work in progress.

Jackson played nine snaps in Sunday’s 26-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets, and although his stat line doesn’t jump off the page (seven carries, 15 yards), this is a case where it requires looking beyond the numbers.

The goal Sunday was to help the 6-foot-2, 240-pound Jackson shake off rust from having not played football for almost a full year. And, in the process, to give the coaching staff a feel for if Jackson still has some juice to power through opposing defenders.

The story said one run stood out: it was Jackson’s 7-yard jaunt with 5:15 remaining in regulation. On the play, Jackson came rumbling downhill, decisively cut to his right and lowered his pads after powering through the gap between right tackle Marcus Cannon and tight end Rob Gronkowski to run through cornerback Marcus Gilchrist.

There are a lot of dark clouds hanging over the Miami Dolphins organization. The team needs to find a new coach for 2016. It probably also will be searching for a new general manager and at least a dozen new players following a needed offseason housecleaning.

But there has been one bright spot in Miami's horrendous season: young receivers Jarvis Landry and, of late, DeVante Parker have excelled. They combined for 11 catches and 204 yards in Sunday's 18-12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Dolphins dropped to 5-10, which at this point doesn't matter much. These final games are more about evaluating the team for the future than watching the standings.

Miami drafted Landry in the second round in 2014, and he has quickly become one of its best and most dependable players. He led the team with seven receptions for 111 yards Sunday and also became the first player in franchise history to notch 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in the same season. Parker was picked 14th overall in this year's draft. He was expected to make an immediate impact but summer foot surgery set him back, and once he got on the field he got off to a slow start. But an injury to former starter Rishard Matthews opened the door for more playing time, and Parker has taken advantage.

Jets wideout Kenbrell Thompkins was carted off the field with a leg injury and did not return in the 26-20 overtime victory against the Patriots.

Browns running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) and wideout Marlon Moore (concussion) did not return in the 17-13 loss to the Chiefs.

Bills wide receiver and special teams ace Marcus Easley suffered a knee injury in the second quarter on Sunday and was carted off the field after the medical staff put an air cast on his left leg.

Easley has only caught one pass this season, a 58-yard reception for a touchdown. He does most of his work on special teams as a gunner.

The Seahawks are already thin at tight end and lost Luke Willson to a concussion.

Wide receiver Tyler Lockett was evaluated for a concussion in the second quarter but returned to the game.

Willson will have to go in league protocol and his status for Week 17 will be up in the air. Lockett's return was good news and should be fine for Week 17.

The Eagles won't have their top corner tonight in Maxwell. Kirk Cousins is a low-end QB1 play tonight.

It's never easy for a wide receiver to jump in midseason, or late season, and pick up the New England Patriots' offense.

Apparently, the Leonard Hankerson addition didn't go as the team had hoped.

Hankerson, claimed off waivers from Atlanta on Dec. 16, lasted only 10 days in the New England, according to ProFootballTalk.

With Hankerson's impending release, the team will be down to four wide receivers -- Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Brandon LaFell and Keshawn Martin.

Both Amendola and LaFell are questionable Sunday due to injuries sustained in Week 15 versus the Titans. Amendola injured his left knee, the one that kept him out of the Week 12 game versus Denver. And LaFell appeared to injure his left foot, the one that kept him on the PUP list until Week 7.

If one or both can't go Sunday, the Patriots may be seeking to use a wide receiver who grasps the offense better than Hankerson. Undrafted rookie Chris Harper could get promoted from the practice squad.

Eagles QB Sam Bradford (left shoulder, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 16. Bradford is a Sneaky Start against the Redskins.

Saints QB Drew Brees (foot, questionable) missed practice again Thursday and is questionable for Week 16. Brees is being described as “day-to-day” with a plantar fascia injury in his foot. He is hoping to finish the season, so for now we’re expecting him to play through the injury. He said he has “every intention” of playing on Sunday. The Saints play late, so if his status is still up in the air, it will put owners in a tough spot.

Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (left thumb, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 16. Fitz threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns in his Week 7 meeting with the Patriots, though the New England defense is playing better at this point in the season.

Ellington was limited last Friday, was listed as questionable and ultimately was inactive. Practicing on Thursday indicates an upgrade for Ellington, but he still seems closer to doubtful than probable at this point. If he remains out, David Johnson will be our top-ranked running back against the Packers.

Browns RB Duke Johnson (hamstring, questionable) took limited practice reps again Friday and is questionable for Week 16. Johnson should be able to play against the Chiefs, though this is looking like a game-time decision. The Browns play early on Sunday.

Redskins RB Matt Jones (hip, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 16. He and Alfred Morris have a nice matchup against the Eagles. If Jones is out, Morris will become a Sneaky Start.

Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib, probable) took limited practice reps all week and is probable for Week 16. It looks like Lacy will play. He’s not a great option given his inconsistent workload and a tough matchup with Arizona.

Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (abdomen, out) was ruled out for Week 16. Christine Michael is the odds on favorite to lead the Seattle backfield in touches.

Bills RB LeSean McCoy (knee, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 16. This leaves Karlos Williams and Mike Gillislee sharing the Buffalo backfield. The Bills website believes that Williams will start and Gillislee will serve as a “complement.” Williams is still on the injury report with a shoulder injury and he was out-touched and out-snapped by Gillislee last week.

Vikings RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring, probable) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week and is probable for Week 16. McKinnon could see a large role this week if the Vikings elect to sit Adrian Peterson (assuming the Packers lose to the Cardinals, making the Vikings’ game meaningless).

Dolphins RB Lamar Miller (quadricep, ankle, probable) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week and is probable for Week 16. The probable tag indicates that Miller should be able to handle a normal RB1 workload, but his touches were scaled back last week (post-injury) in favor of Jay Ajayi. He’s a good start against the Colts, provided the Dolphins use him appropriately.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder, probable) took full practice reps Friday after missing practice earlier in the week and is probable for Week 16. The probable tag indicates that Peterson is fine to carry his usual workload, though the Vikings may rest him in the case that the game is meaningless. If the Packers lose to the Cardinals earlier in the day, the game will have no direct playoff implications. Arizona is favored by 4.5 points. Jerick McKinnon seems like the most likely candidate to pick up most of Peterson’s touches if he were to sit, though Matt Asiata would have a role in the passing game and in the red zone.

Redskins RB Chris Thompson (shoulder, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 16.

Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (rib, probable) took full practice reps again Friday and is probable for Week 16. Ware’s return puts a dent in Charcandrick West’s upside, though we do expect West to serve as the team’s lead back in a great matchup against the Browns.

Jay Cutler is less appealing as a streaming play, though he’s been decent (230 yards, 1.3 TD, 17 rushing yards) in the four games without Jeffery in the lineup this year. Eddie Royal becomes a decent desperation play, though he hasn’t cracked the 50-yard mark or scored a touchdown since Week 4. Marc Mariani and Josh Bellamy probably will round out the receiving corps.

Panthers WR Ted Ginn (quad) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. It’s a good sign that Ginn was upgraded to a full practice. He’s a solid start against the Falcons after catching two touchdowns in each of the last three games.

Giants WR Dwayne Harris (shoulder) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Harris is worth a look in PPR formats with Odell Beckham sidelined with a suspension.

Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (thigh) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Hurns played through the thigh injury last week and should do so again. He has a great matchup against the Saints.

Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (foot, knee) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Jackson posted 5-117-1 and 4-126 in two games against his old team last season.

Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson (knee) missed practice again Thursday. Jackson may continue to sit since there isn’t much upside in his returning in what has become a lost season for the Buccaneers. If he remains out, Mike Evans would continue to be a target monster in a nice matchup with the Bears.

Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday. Consider Jeffery questionable for Week 16. The Bears play early.

Lions WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Johnson is a risky play given his recent production.

Vikings WR Charles Johnson (ankle) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse (calf) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Kearse has had three good-to-great fantasy outings in his last three games and may see extra work if Doug Baldwin (hamstring) can’t play.

Patriots WR Brandon LaFell (foot) took limited practice reps again Thursday. LaFell wasn’t on the injury report last week, but he’s expected to play through the injury given all the issues the Patriots are having at receiver.

Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (knee) missed practice Thursday after taking limited reps Wednesday. Landry also missed practice last Thursday before suiting up on Sunday, so we’re expecting him to play in Week 16.

Rams WR Bradley Marquez (knee) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday.

Jets WR Brandon Marshall (ankle) took full practice reps again Thursday. Marshall caught four passes for 67 yards on seven targets in his last meeting with the Patriots. It was his worst fantasy output of the year, but he’s still a must-start this week.

Dolphins WR Rishard Matthews (ribs) took full practice reps again Thursday. It looks like Matthews may return this week, though it’s no sure thing.

Colts WR Donte Moncrief (toe) missed practice again Thursday. HC Chuck Pagano indicates that Moncrief will be a game-time decision for Week 16. He played through the injury last week and posted 5-51-1 on seven targets against the Texans.

Browns WR Marlon Moore (ribs) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (ankle) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps. This is a midweek downgrade for Parker, so keep an eye on his status heading into Sunday. The Dolphins play early.

Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck (back, rib) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Hasselbeck is expected to start, but that doesn’t mean he’ll finish the game.

Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Hoyer is working his way back and may be able to return since the Texans are still in the playoff hunt. If he can’t play, Brandon Weeden would get the start.

Colts QB Andrew Luck (abdomen, kidney) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Matt Hasselbeck is expected to start again this week.

Bills RB Anthony Dixon (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday.

Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (toe) did not practice Wednesday. Ellington was limited last Friday, was listed as questionable and ultimately was inactive. If he remains out, David Johnson will be our top-ranked running back against the Packers.

Browns RB Duke Johnson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Johnson should be able to play against the Chiefs.

Redskins RB Matt Jones (hip) took limited practice reps Wednesday. This is a new injury for Jones, so we’ll monitor his progress this week. He and Alfred Morris have a nice matchup against the Eagles.

Packers RB Eddie Lacy (rib) took limited practice reps Wednesday. This is a new injury for Lacy who had a disappointing outing against the Raiders in Week 15.

Bills RB LeSean McCoy (knee) did not practice Wednesday. McCoy will very likely miss Week 16, leaving Karlos Williams and Mike Gillislee sharing the Buffalo backfield.

Dolphins RB Lamar Miller (quadricep) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Miller took a backseat to Jay Ajayi after injuring his quad last week. This leaves him in an uncertain position workload-wise heading into a nice matchup against the Colts.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder) did not practice Wednesday. Peterson says that the ankle feels “pretty good” and is expected to play this week.

Texans RB Chris Polk (knee) practiced fully Wednesday.

Jaguars RB Denard Robinson (foot) practiced fully Wednesday. Robinson’s injury is not considered to be serious, per HC Gus Bradley, and Robinson said that he expects to play. The full practice supports this assessment.

Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (foot) did not practice Wednesday. Stewart may be able to return this week, though the Panthers #1 priority is to get him healthy for a postseason run. Last week, Cameron Artis-Payne out-touched Mike Tolbert and Fozzy Whittaker by a margin of 16-to-9. If Stewart remains out, we expect Artis-Payne to serve as the lead back in a nice matchup with the Falcons.

Bills RB Karlos Williams (shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Williams is the obvious choice to replace the likely-out LeSean McCoy, but he’s still dealing with a shoulder injury and Mike Gillislee is averaging 10.4 YPC (on 14 carries) since joining the Bills.

Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Yeldon is very likely to miss Week 16, leaving Denard Robinson as the lead back in a great matchup with the Saints.
