Week 16 vs. New York Giants
Ryan Mathews had a great, albeit surprising, game against the Ravens last week. Mathews carried 20 times for 128 yards and a TD against a very good rushing defense that is ranked in the top-3.
This week, it's another tough matchup, as the Giants are 12th in allowing fantasy points to RBs. Mathews has 35 carries over the last two games, so it appears he's back to carrying the load, especially with Wendell Smallwood and Kenjon Barner out for this week. Darren Sproles does return and likely is active in the passing game as a change-of-pace back. However, as long as this stays close, Mathews should get a healthy workload. He comes in 27th on our list, making him more of an RB3 play.
