Brian Hoyer’s status after Sunday night’s 27-6 loss to New England is still uncertain.
Hoyer exited the game late in the fourth quarter and headed to the locker room to be evaluated for a possible concussion. The Texans starting quarterback was sacked on fourth-and-3 with 9:54 left in the game. Head coach Bill O’Brien did not confirm after the game whether or not Hoyer had suffered a concussion on the play.
“I don’t know yet,” head coach Bill O’Brien said after the game. “I’m not sure. It looked that way, but I’m not sure.”
Fantasy Impact:
After Hoyer’s injury, TJ Yates entered the game for just one series in the loss, finishing 1-of-2 for four yards. Hoyer also suffered a concussion on Nov. 16 at Cincinnati and was inactive the following week against the Jets as Yates got the start.
