Draft note
by John Paulsen
If not for the Steelers’ decision to draft Pat Freiermuth in the second round of the 2021 Draft, Ebron would be ranked higher. After all, he did finish as the No. 15 tight end last season while garnering the eighth-most targets at his position. Rookie tight ends are notoriously unproductive, so Ebron could return TE1/TE2 numbers again this season.

PIT TE Eric Ebron - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Raiders

With all the outside receivers getting most of the love, there is almost nothing left over for the tight ends. Eric Ebron saw just two targets against the Bills and split offensive snaps with Pat Freiermuth. The tight end situation in Pittsburgh has become very muddied for fantasy purposes. It may be best to steer clear and see if one takes a step forward ahead of the other as time goes on.
