Sources: The Steelers plan to give Russell Wilson first-team reps in practice this week, putting him in line to make his season debut.

Fantasy Impact:

Russ will get the start against the Jets on Sunday night it looks like. Pittsburgh is 4-2 with Fields, but with Wilson’s calf now fully healed it looks like the team is going to make a change. This could mean a better news for the Pittsburgh WRs as Wilson should throw the ball more vs. Fields escaping the pocket and running.

PIT TE Pat Freiermuth - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs, New York Jets

Tight end as a whole has been a wasteland for most of this season, but Pat Freiermuth should have the arrow looking up with Russell Wilson taking over for Justin Fields. We're not sure how Wilson fits in this offense, but Freiermuth should be a beneficiary in the red zone as Justin Fields was more likely to pull it down and keep it.

The Jets are tough against tight ends, 9th aFPA, but Freiermuth is a borderline TE1 this week. In reality, he's a mid-end TE2, but the position is so boom or bust that the difference between TE11 and TE17 is so small. I'd be looking elsewhere, but in TE premium leagues I can see the appeal.
