The Saints have released wide receiver Brandon Coleman.

Fantasy Impact:

The writing was on the wall for this move once the Saints signed Cameron Meredith and drafted TreQuan Smith. Still, it's a confirmation of Meredith's health, and perhaps Smith's ability to play right away. The team also still has veteran Ted Ginn behind star receiver Michael Thomas. A Saints bounce back in the passing game should create value with one of these three wideouts.

Divisional Round at Minnesota Vikings

Brandon Coleman caught 4-of-5 targets for 44 yards in the Saints' Wild Card win over the Panthers. He nearly lost a fumble in the third quarter but Mark Ingram recovered the loose ball. Overall, it was a solid performance from Coleman but we don't recommend him in DFS this week. Ranked as our No. 24 WR for the Divisional Round, Coleman is nothing but a dart throw this week.
