Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said Friday that QB Matt Ryan “is ready” to play Sunday against the Saints. Matt Schaub has himself a day against the Seahawks with 460 yards but Ryan helps boost the offense as a whole. Of course, at this point, the Falcons are just playing out what has become a lost season at 1-7. But Ryan looks ready to go and ready to be back in fantasy lineups for what could be an offensive show Sunday.
Ryan missed Week 8 with the ankle sprain suffered in Week 7 but was able to rest during the bye week and looks ready to make his return for Atlanta’s rivalry showdown with the Saints. Matt Schaub
BAL QB Matt Schaub - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 14 vs. Seattle
Matt Schaub had 308 yards and a touchdown last week, but he also threw a pair of interceptions in a loss to the Dolphins. Baltimore has struggled all year and is limping toward the finish line with backups at nearly every key offensive position. Schaub has looked serviceable, but a victory over the Browns and a loss to the Dolphins doesn’t have Ravens fans encouraged.
This week, Schaub will have a tall task in front of him as he faces one of the league’s best pass defenses. The Seahawks destroyed the Vikings last week and are tied with the Broncos for the least amount of passing touchdowns allowed this year with only 11. Schaub will likely need to throw the ball, but fantasy owners should look elsewhere if possible in a tough matchup.
Schaub will miss this week's game with an injury, fantasy owners shouldn't have been starting him anyway, but if he was in your lineup, be sure to get him out.
