2026 ONE AND DONE CONTEST
As a heads up, the Race for the Mayo Cup 2026 is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!!!!! It starts in January per usual, but there’s now $1.2M guaranteed in the prize pool. The top 750 get paid, and just look at this glorious, flat payout structure. Everyone inside the Top 20 will win at least $10,000, with $110,000 to the winner.
The Sentry has been cancelled this year, so there won’t be a tournament to remind you to sign up for the following week. So, just reserve your spot right now as not to forget.
Tambo and I always mention how we get our dad’s entries for Christmas (since buying for a Dad is basically impossible), I highly recommend that move.

WEEK 14 GAME BY GAME NOTES
SEA / ATL: Rashid Shaheed hits on the daily double if you stacked him
with the Seattle D/ST and that’s always fun: but it’s pretty much the
only way to get anything out of Cam’s Seahawks outside of JSN ...
consecutive nice games for Kyle Pitts: if you want to trust him in
your fantasy playoffs, I wish I had the courage you do ... Marcus
Mariota has been a top-12 QB in his last three starts, and the Giants
are up next. If Washington shuts down Daniels, his backup should be
rostered, even if it’s to block your opponent
CIN / BUF: Tee Higgins shines in the snow, and that’s with a few missed
chances (he had a drop that could have been a chunk play, and Burrow
missed him on another). This offense is back to the condensed four
players we can count on (I’ll pass on the Gesicki game being sticky)
... Superman Josh Allen takes over and ices the game. As far as a
supporting cast, no RB/WR saw more than three targets. The idea of a
Khalil Shakir type is better than the practical usage these days (he
scored on Sunday, but you’re paying for volume).
TEN / CLE: Yea, we needed a Tony Pollard game. It’s clear that the
team doesn’t view Tyjae Spears as a threat to his two-down role, so
there’s some safety in his touch count, but this was an outlier game
in terms of script. I still wouldn’t be excited about playing Pollard
with my season on the line at SF next week ... Harold Fannin has
showcased a reasonable floor, and he does it again. It’s not the most
fun play, especially when David Njoku gets the score, but I think he’s
better than the streaming tier.
WAS / MIN: Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel saw 60% of the targets, but
it doesn’t matter in a game where the Commanders caught Minnesota-itis
in terms of passing efficiency ... Justin Jefferson has been held
under 50 receiving yards in five of six games. I don’t think you bench
him in Dallas next week, but you don’t want your playoff matchup
coming down to the Sunday nighter. He ranked fifth on the team in
receiving yards on Sunday.
MIA / NYJ: Jaylen Wright assumes the lead role after Achane gets hurt.
The Dolphins host the Bengals in Week 16, and that’s good enough reason
to have him rostered, even without clarity on the starter ... Mason
Taylor greases his way to double-digit PPR points. I don’t think
there’s anything you can trust here.
NO / TB: Tyler Shough might not be great, but the dude is gutty and
will fight for your DFS roster ... The Emeka Egbuka slide continues
and we might see Mike Evans in Week 15. The rookie dropped a TD and
still saw volume, but right now, his profile comes with more risk than
reward.
IND / JAX: The Daniel Jones experience was trending in the wrong
direction pre-injury, and now I’m not confident in any WR. Jonathan
Taylor is a volume play, and Tyler Warren is an option because of his
position, but Pittman, Downs, and my guy Pierce are all highly risky
options if this offense struggles to stay on the field ... The Jags
are going to win a dozen games, and I have no idea how. Jakoby Meyers
continues to earn volume, and I think we saw enough from BTJ against
Indy to consider them both viable options.
PIT / BAL: The Steelers cut Aaron Rodgers loose, and, go figure, it
worked. DK Metcalf has his best game of the season and if this is how
the offense functions, he could end strong with the Dolphins this week
and Lions next ... Lamar Jackson still doesn’t look right, but he hit
Zay Flowers for a handful of splash plays and got him over 80
receiving yards for the first time since the Week 1 collapse in
Buffalo.
DEN / LV: Who knows on the WRs in Denver, but RJ Harvey has a rush TD
and 25+ receiving yards in consecutive games, making him the fifth
player with such a streak this season (CMC, Jacobs, Bijan Robinson,
and Omarion Hampton the others)... Ashton Jeanty doesn’t have a
15-yard run since September. This is the same dude that cleared 2,600
rushing yards last year at Boise State. The Raiders get the Eagles and
Texans over the next two weeks: it’s hard to imagine Jeanty being on
any title-winning teams this fantasy season
CHI / GB: Ben Johnson seems hellbent on an RB committee in Chicago and
that caps the upside of both Swift and Monangai as RB2s. Neither scored
against the Packers, but both were reasonably efficient and Swift
added three catches ... There was some good from Jayden Reed in his
return (two rushing attempts has my eye), but Christian Watson has now
caught 5 TD passes over his past four games. Keep in mind that No
Packer saw more than four targets on Sunday, so the floor remains low
for all involved, but he gets the splash chances, and that’s good
enough to be a flex option in most spots.
LAR / ARI: Davante Adams' slow days are going to happen when the TDs go
elsewhere, so that’s part of doing business. This Blake Corum thing
(12-128-2) is interesting, and while the big play came in the fourth
quarter of a blowout, there’s no denying that there’s more risk with
Kyren Williams than we’ve seen in the past. ... Michael Wilson has 10+
catches and 100+ receiving yards in all three games sans Marvin
Harvison. He’s the third Cardinal to have three such games in a season
over the past 20 years (DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald the
others), and he’s done it in the only three real chances he’s gotten!
HOU / KC: Nico Collins gets there with the early big receptions,
otherwise this offense realistically did nothing, and that’s not all
that new: defense wins NFL games, but not fantasy matchups ...
critical drops from Kelce/Rice ruin what was already a brutal game.
Seemed like KC wanted Pacheco to get going, but nothing ever happened
for this offense, really anywhere.
