My top quarterback target in last year’s fantasy drafts didn’t disappoint, finishing QB4 after being drafted in the QB10-QB12 range all summer. This year, he’ll have another weapon to throw to thanks to the Commanders’ trade for Deebo Samuel. The Commanders also drafted Jaylin Lane in the fourth round to shore up the team’s WR depth.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn told reporters that Jayden Daniels did wind up practicing today and "we really pushed it"

They'll evaluate his status over the next 48 hours, but could be determined on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a good idea to have a backup plan for Week 8, as Daniels seems like he could go either way at this point. He's a start if he gets cleared in time.

Week 17 vs Atlanta Falcons

Jayden Daniels had himself a day in Week 16 against the Eagles, tossing a career-high five touchdowns while adding 81 yards on the ground on his way to 34.4 fantasy points. Daniels has multiple passing touchdowns in four straight games and has rushed for at least 66 yards in three of his last four. He finds himself in a potential eruption spot against the Falcons in Week 17, with the Falcons ranking 29th in aFPA to quarterbacks this season. Daniels is an elite option in fantasy title week.
