7 Sleepers to Target in Yahoo Fantasy Football Leagues

Fantasy football sleepers don't have to be obscure players nobody has heard of. Sometimes the more useful targets are sitting right in front of us, only they happen to be going two or three rounds later on one draft platform than our rankings suggest they should.

For this exercise, we'll use 4for4's half-PPR rankings and compare them against Yahoo average draft position (ADP). Any player going outside the top 100 picks on Yahoo is eligible, but we're not simply sorting by the largest numerical gap. A 40-pick discount is much more useful when a player is going 120th than when he's going 240th.

Kenneth Gainwell, RB - Buccaneers (Yahoo ADP: RB40, 114 overall)

Kenneth Gainwell's 2025 breakout was an unexpected ride. From Week 8 onward, he averaged 14.4 touches and 11.8 half-PPR points per game, good enough for an RB20 scoring pace over that span. Tampa Bay now has 174 available running back opportunities following Rachaad White's departure, creating room for Gainwell to maintain a role behind Bucky Irving.

We shouldn't expect the 81 targets Gainwell saw last season to travel with him to Tampa. That receiving volume drove a large portion of his production, and Irving remains a capable pass-catcher himself. The counter is that we're no longer paying for anything close to a repeat of 2025. Yahoo lets Gainwell fall to No. 114 overall while 4for4 has him 90th in half-PPR.

At an RB40 price, a weekly rotational role can already make him useful. If Irving's shoulder recovery lingers or he misses time at any point, Gainwell's path gets much more interesting.
