12 Fantasy Football Players with Easy Early-Season Schedules in 2026
At 4for4, we go beyond basic strength-of-schedule analysis by using our signature metric, schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA). This removes some of the noise created by the opponents a defense faced the previous season and gives us a better apples-to-apples comparison of how favorable each fantasy matchup could be.
Strength of schedule shouldn't be the deciding factor when we're choosing between players separated by several rounds of average draft position (ADP). But once we get into similarly priced options —particularly in the middle and later rounds— an inviting opening stretch can absolutely break a tie. A favorable first month also gives our cheaper draft picks a chance to prove themselves before bye weeks and waiver-wire churn start forcing tougher roster decisions.
Below, we'll use 4for4's Hot Spots tool to identify 12 players with favorable early-season schedules, while mixing in some of the underlying 2025 numbers that could help them take advantage.
Quarterbacks
Jordan Love, Packers (Multi-Site ADP: 11.12)

Jordan Love's schedule technically starts out terribly, but anyone willing to survive Minnesota in Week 1 gets one of the cleanest early-season quarterback runs on the board.
From Weeks 2-6, Green Bay gets the Jets, Falcons, Buccaneers, Bears, and Cowboys, with every one of those matchups registering favorably in our QB Hot Spots. The stretch peaks with Dallas in Week 6, after the Cowboys allowed 35 passing touchdowns last season, while the Jets surrendered a league-high 36.
There are also reasons to like Love before we even get to the schedule. He threw for 3,381 yards and 23 touchdowns across 15 games last season, finishing with a 66.3% completion rate and a healthy 9.0-yard average depth of target. The more advanced numbers make the season look even better than the raw touchdown total: Love posted a 5.1% completion percentage over expectation (CPOE), 7.40 adjusted net yards per attempt, and 0.50 fantasy points per dropback.
Love was already playing efficient football; now he gets five straight matchups that give him a chance to start hot after opening weekend.
