COVID-19 IR/Opt Out Tracker & Backups to Target

With players now being tagged with the reserve/COVID-19 designation, we thought it would be useful to keep track of when players enter the list, so that you have a good idea of their on-field availability. This article also contains a list of players who have chosen to completely opt-out for the 2020 season.
* Only fantasy-relevant players will be on both lists to limit the noise.

This chart will be updated as players are deemed list-worthy, along with when their quarantine period has expired. The NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list was created for players who either test positive for the virus, or are being quarantined due to contact with an infected person or persons. Per the agreed upon NFL-NFLPA policy, it does not appear that we will be privy to which reason the players receive this designation.
Once players start to come off the list, we should have a better idea of their average length of stay.

Opt-Out List
The original deadline to opt-out for the 2020 season has officially passed and we are now onto the start of real football.
However, players can still opt-out in two ways:
- New diagnosis of a high-risk condition
- Player’s family member dies, is hospitalized or otherwise moves to a medical facility because of COVID-19 or related condition
This table will be updated as news pours in, and a player will not be indicated as sitting out until there is sourced information.
*Only fantasy-relevant guys will be listed as it could get out of control pretty easily.
