If Watkins has to miss Week 15 against Washington, Reagor likely moves into the team's WR2 role with Ward also possibly seeing more targets. This is a big game for both the Eagles and Washington who sit at 6-7 and are battling for the final wild card berth in the NFC. Watkins is more of a big-play, boom-or-bust deep threat for the Birds.
PHI WR Greg Ward - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 4 at San Francisco
Well, it didn't take long for Greg Ward to become the No. 1 receiver again. The former quarterback gets that role because of injuries again to the Eagles wide receiving corps. Ward has made himself a solid NFL receiver and he will get plenty of looks from QB Carson Wentz.
Ward has a tough matchup against the Niners who are ranked 9th in aFPA to wide receivers. With Wentz struggling, it is hard to be optimistic about any Eagle receiver.
It's a good story, but Ward's role is by default and we don't see him excelling as the best receiver for the Eagles. Keep him on the bench and the waiver wire for Week 4.
