Final Thoughts for the Last Draft Weekend (2026)

We’re one week away from New England/Seattle next Thursday, and there will be countless drafts held this weekend, so it’s a good time to discuss a couple of the late-breaking storylines of the summer.

Wait, Josh Jacobs might not play this season? Where can he be drafted? Where should Marshawn Lloyd be drafted? What's this about a September hearing?

There's a lot going on with this situation. I'm not currently ranking Josh Jacobs since I believe there's a distinct possibility that he doesn't play this season, though I'm trying to determine what it means that his first hearing was moved from November 17th to September 10th. Fantasy-wise, the best-case scenario is there's a plea deal in the works and he serves a short suspension at the start of the season. I may rank Jacobs by the end of the day pending further news.
