Dillon has four TDs over his last three games and has 8, 18 and 11 carries in that same span to go along with three catches in each game as well. The Packers still have an outside shot at making the playoffs and will need another win this week, on Christmas Day, in Miami. It's good news for Dillon owners, and it looks like he'll play so owners can save a spot in lineups if they were counting on him. Keep in mind most games this week are on Christmas Eve.
GB RB A.J. Dillon - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 17 vs. Minnesota Vikings
A.J. Dillon only managed 48 total yards on 13 touches last week, but managed to finish as a RB2 with a touchdown on the ground. Dillon actually out-touched Aaron Jones, who is dealing with some nagging injuries despite being active for games. Starting Dillon when Jones is healthy is a risky proposition as he pretty much requires a rushing score to pay off as a fantasy option. Dillon gets a middling matchup this week against the Vikings' mediocre run defense, but volume is a concern due to Jones being fully healthy and the Vikings being absolutely abysmal against the pass, setting up the potential for Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers to air it out in an advantageous matchup. Dillon is not without upside as he has been used frequently at the goal line, but he will likely be a hole in your lineup if he doesn't find the end zone this week.
