The Eagles acquired WR John Metchie from the Texans in exchange for TE Harrison Bryant. The teams are also swapping day three picks in 2026.

Fantasy Impact:

The Texans were looking for a tight end after Brevin Jordan suffered a season-ending knee injury last week and Metchie was starting to become buried on the depth chart in Houston. For the Eagles, Metchie will compete with the likes of Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith for roles behind the top two of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

You may not realize it, but Harrison Bryant now has to straight games with a touchdown. Sure, the first game saw just a two-yard touchdown catch the whole game for Bryant, but the second one saw 49 yards on five catches. Maybe there's a connection brewing between Bryant and Joe Flacco? We'll see. Too early to thrust him into lineups just yet, but he's on the radar and is worth a look if you need a second tight end.
