DraftKings Best Ball: Weeks 15-17 Cheat Sheet

Correlating Week 17 matchups has proven fruitful for winning best ball tournaments in recent years, but you can’t make it to the final round of a big best ball tournament without getting out of your quarterfinal or semifinal pods, so Week 15 and 16 are now something we need to pay attention to when drafting. Of course, if you’re participating in DraftKings Sit & Go leagues, it certainly can’t hurt to have a big push in scoring down the stretch, too.

Week 15 (December 11- 15th, 2025)
Weather will likely be a factor in the final few weeks of the season, so here’s a list of the indoor games or ones with the ability to dome with retractable roofs in Week 15.

Possible Shootouts
Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals
This AFC North battle has a DK lookahead line of 49.5, the highest currently on the Week 15 slate. Both of these teams are already popular in best ball, making them tough to stack. The Bengals and Ravens have seven players among the top 55 in DraftKings ADP, with Cincy boasting three drafted within the first three rounds. Ja'Marr Chase is usually the first player drafted, so if you get him, you can follow up with either Tee Higgins (24.7) or Chase Brown (28.7), but not both since they are so close together. Derrick Henry is a late-first-rounder, so you'll either get him or Chase.
A Ravens' bring-back could help bolster a game stack in that contest's flow. Lamar Jackson is leaving boards at 30.2, Zay Flowers at 53.6, and Mark Andrews falling to the ninth round, allowing you to stack any of them wth Chase, Higgins, Brown, or Joe Burrow if you prefer, whose current ADP is 46.1. Anyone who misses out on an early game stack for either squad can grab Rashod Bateman at 113, Isaiah Likely at 136, or take a swing at DeAndre Hopkins in the 15th.
Detroit Lions @ Los Angeles Rams
This contest is a double whammy of fantasy goodness, as it’s both inside and has the potential to be high-scoring with a DK lookahead line of 48.5. The Lions and Rams have a whopping eight players being drafted among the top 68 in DraftKings ADP. Jahmyr Gibbs, Puka Nacua, and Amon-Ra St. Brown are first-rounders, so there’s very little chance of getting both players, but in the third round, you have Kyren Williams (32.5) and Davante Adams (33.2) to stack with either elite Lion.
These teams aren’t cheap to work with, but peppering members of both throughout your rosters is easily attainable. Some of the best values you can get for Detroit are David Montgomery at 68.3 and rookie Isaac TeSlaa at pick 19.02, and Ram rookie RB Jarquez Hunter could be worth a stab at 17.11.

Week 16 (December 18th- 22nd, 2025)
We have six indoor contests in Week 16 as opposed to just four the week before.
Possible Shootouts
Cincinnati Bengals @ Dolphins
This high-octane contest takes place in sunny Florida during the middle of winter. The current over/under on DK is set at 48.5 points, the highest on the Week 16 slate. This is a fun one, as the pieces in Miami have dropped significantly in draft value since this time last year. In 2024, both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle were gone by pick 28, but they now boast ADPs of 34.3 and 58.4, respectively, while Chase and Higgins are off the board by that 28th selection.
De'Von Achane is the most expensive Dolphin as a second-rounder (17.3), so he is easily paired with his own team or members of the Bengals. If you want to onslaught this contest, both QBs are doable as Burrow is currently the QB4 at 46.1 with Tua Tagovailoa very nicely priced as the QB22 at pick 141.2, and these teams have different bye weeks in 2025. Jonnu Smith is a bit pricier on DK than other sites, as his ADP is currently 100.9, and if you want to invest in some RB insurance, Jaylen Wright (171.6) and rookie Ollie Gordon (227) are worth a stab or two, as Raheem Mostert is no longer in town.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Commanders
This NFC East matchup has an over/under of 47.5 and rarely disappoints, plus in Week 16, this could have major postseason implications. The Eagles are much easier to stack than last season, so if you are at the top of the draft order, stacking Saquon Barkley (2.7) with A.J. Brown (19.9) isn't entirely impossible, but you're more likely to get Devonta Smith at 51.1 with Jalen Hurts right before at 46.1. Dallas Goedert is an easy add there in the 12th round.
Terry McLaurin at 29.9 is also doable with the riskier Deebo Samuel currently leaving boards at 6.06. Brian Robinson makes for a nice dead-zone RB (86.9), with Austin Ekeler always appealing in full PPR formats, and he's dirt cheap in 2025 at 13.10. Will Shipley is my favorite value in this contest at 188.8, as Barkley can't do it all alone, even though he's as close as they come.

Week 17 (December 25- 29th, 2024)
One note of significance here is that the Lions and Texans play indoors in all three weeks mentioned in this article. While the Lions are highly sought after, some low-key Texans like Dalton Schultz or Jaylin Noel, or Lion rookie Isaac TeSlaa, could be keys to advancing out of BBM pods if they hit right.

Possible Shootouts
Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Commanders
We have another NFC East showdown that could have postseason ramifications, and it features the highest over/under of Week 17 at 48.5. I detailed the Commander's availability above, and Dallas bring-back players are fairly easy to stack in 2025. CeeDee Lamb is the only Cowboy going in the first four rounds, but you'll have to be in the top half of the order to get him. George Pickens currently boasts an ADP of 54.8, with the other WRs, KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert, nice, very deep pieces to toss into your draft portfolio.
The Dallas RB room is understandably inexpensive, so you can add Javonte Williams or rookie Jaylen Blue to any combination of teams featuring these two franchises in the 10th and 12th rounds, respectively. We can't forget TEs Jake Ferguson and unsexy, but consistent Zach Ertz, who make for decent TE2s in this format.
Arizona Cardinals @ Cincinnati Bengals
I talked about the Bengals players above, and how they have three drafted within the first three rounds. Chase is consistently the first player off the board, so if you get him, you can follow up with either Higgins (24.7) or Brown (28.7), but not both, since they are so close together. In that same second round, you also have Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr., so at least you have plenty of options if you want to get a piece or two of this game from various spots in the draft. James Conner in the sixth round is a nice bring-back option to any of those WRs or McBride.
Some nice value pieces in this game are Arizona WR Michael Wilson, who is currently leaving DK boards as the WR77, but is 4for4's WR63 in PPR scoring, and TE Mike Gesicki, DK's TE21 and 19th in early ranks on 4for4.

2025 Bye Weeks
With the NFL schedule release, we also now know every team's bye week, and this year the NFL did their best to screw with us. This is usually an overrated aspect of fantasy football, particularly in redraft formats, but it’s important to know in best ball to avoid matching up bye-week quarterbacks or tight ends in 2-QB or 2-TE builds.
Week | Teams on Bye |
---|---|
5 | Steelers, Bears, Packers, Falcons |
6 | Texans, Vikings |
7 | Ravens, Bills |
8 | Jaguars, Raiders, Lions, Cardinals, Seahawks, Rams |
9 | Eagles, Browns, Jets, Buccaneers |
10 | Chiefs, Bengals, Titans, Cowboys |
11 | Colts, Saints |
12 | Dolphins, Broncos, Chargers, Commanders |
13 | None |
14 | Giants, Patriots, Panthers, 49ers |
