Ja’Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin/neck) are questionable for Sunday against Miami. Zac Taylor said Friday that Chase remains in concussion protocol. Both receivers ran routes and caught passes during the portion of practice open to reporters.

Related Players: Dohnte Meyers, Mitchell Tinsley, Colbie Young, Mike Gesicki, Joe Burrow, Chase Brown

Chase remains a must-start if he clears protocol. Higgins would have WR1 upside if active without Chase, although his own injury adds risk. Should both miss, Meyers has a path to WR2 volume, while Gesicki becomes a stronger TE1 option. Tinsley would enter deeper-league FLEX consideration; Young remains a speculative option. Burrow’s ceiling takes a substantial hit without his top two receivers.

CeeDee Lamb is believed to have a quad bruise that is not considered serious.

Related Players: George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy, KaVontae Turpin, Jonathan Mingo, Jake Ferguson, Dak Prescott

Managers should continue planning to start Lamb as a WR1 if he is cleared for his normal workload next week. Flournoy remains a speculative stash rather than a dependable starter while Lamb is available. If Lamb ultimately sits, Pickens would have WR1 upside, Flournoy could enter WR3/FLEX consideration, and Ferguson would become a more appealing tight end streamer.

Dontayvion Wicks, Eagles WR1 with DeVonta Smith out, is now listed on the injury report with a hammy. Limited on Thursday.

Related Players: Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Elijah Moore, DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown, Dallas Goedert, Zach Ertz, Jalen Hurts

If Wicks joins Smith and Brown on the sideline, Lemon and Cooper would have a clearer path to enough targets for WR3/FLEX consideration. Lemon would be the preferred option, while Cooper would become more viable in deeper leagues. Goedert could also benefit if active, though his own injury complicates that contingency. A healthy Wicks would remain a FLEX option if Smith and Brown are unavailable.

Chris Olave was limited with a foot injury. He did not participate yesterday due to rest.

Related Players: Devaughn Vele, Juwan Johnson, Tyler Shough

If Olave sits, Vele would have a stronger claim to WR3/FLEX consideration, with WR2 upside if he absorbs a substantial share of Olave’s targets. Johnson would become a more appealing TE1 play with additional receiving opportunities available. Losing his top WR would make Shough a less attractive QB2 option. Olave remains a WR1 if healthy enough to play his usual role.

Ashton Jeanty went from full participation Wednesday to limited participation Thursday.

Related Players: Mike Washington Jr., Dylan Laube

A Thursday downgrade warrants attention for a projected RB1. Washington becomes the primary contingency if Jeanty misses time.

Kyle Monangai’s toe injury is reportedly turf toe, leaving his availability uncertain over the next one to two weeks. He hopes to play through it. Monangai missed Thursday’s practice again, while D’Andre Swift returned as a limited participant with hip and knee injuries.

Related Players: Roschon Johnson

D'Andre Swift could handle a larger workload if Kyle Monangai misses Sunday’s game, though Swift is also managing hip and knee injuries. Roschon Johnson could see additional reps if either back is unavailable. Friday’s practice report will provide a clearer picture of Chicago’s backfield.

Cam Skattebo is out of the red non-contact jersey and Malik Nabers is in individual drills. Progress.

Related Players: Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney, Isaiah Likely, Theo Johnson, Jameis Winston

His return supports keeping him in lineup plans as a fringe WR1/2 while awaiting the official report and Friday’s designation.

WR Ja’Marr Chase returned for the open portion of Thursday’s practice after sitting out Wednesday. Chase remains in concussion protocol, and his return to practice does not establish clearance for Sunday against Miami.

Tee Higgins was working on a side field and remained out of uniform during Thursday’s open practice period. Higgins missed Wednesday with groin and neck injuries

Related Players: Dohnte Meyers, Mitchell Tinsley, Colbie Young, Mike Gesicki, Joe Burrow

It's a step in the right direction for Chase, but obviously more iffy news for Higgins. Prepare an alternative for either/or wherever possible, but we could see some serious usage for Meyers and Gesicki should one or both of them miss Week 5.

Ravens have four players not present during media viewing of Thursday’s practice:

QB Lamar Jackson (ankle)
OLB Trey Hendrickson (finger)
CB Marlon Humphrey (calf/hamstring)
C Cam Jurgens (concussion)

Hendrickson was observing off to the side.

WR Rashod Bateman (shoulder) is wearing a red non-contact jersey but is participating in individual and team drills.

Related Players: Tyler Huntley, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews, Justice Hill

Managers should prepare an alternative because Baltimore plays Sunday night. Friday’s participation and game designation will be important, although Jesse Minter previously said Jackson could play without practicing during the week. Huntley remains a fallback for deep Superflex leagues if he starts.

Commanders WR Stefon Diggs was back at practice Thursday after missing Wednesday with a hamstring injury, according to Tashan Reed. Terry McLaurin, also dealing with a hamstring injury, was absent from Thursday warmups after missing Wednesday. Their official Thursday participation designations remain pending.

Related Players: Antonio Williams, Treylon Burks, Dyami Brown, Chigoziem Okonkwo, Jayden Daniels

Diggs’s return is encouraging for his availability and Daniels’s receiving options. McLaurin’s second absence adds concern ahead of Sunday. If McLaurin sits, Williams remains a player to consider in deeper leagues. Diggs’s participation level and Friday’s report will help determine confidence in starting him.
