The Houston Texans and wide receiver Nico Collins have agreed to a three-year, $72.75 million extension that includes $52 million guaranteed. The contract has a maximum value of $75 million.

Collins, 25, is coming off a career-best season in which he had 80 receptions (ranked 23rd in the NFL last season) for 1,297 yards (ranked 8th) and eight touchdowns (tied for 8th) in 15 games.

Diggs is only playing on a one-year deal, as the Texans voided the final three years of his contract while giving him a $3.5M raise. If they allow him to walk next season, Collins will be the clear WR1, if he isn't already. Both receivers are good early-round options in fantasy drafts right now, with Tank Dell being an interesting option a few rounds later, even with Diggs in town.

Beckham should work as a rotational third wide receiver behind Hill and Waddle and figures to have some high-output weeks from time to time. He figures to be a headache in typical redraft leagues but will be an interesting addition in best ball leagues.

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was shot in Sanford, Fla., on Saturday night and sustained a minor wound. He has been released from the hospital and is in “good spirits,” the Texans said Sunday.

“We are in contact with (Dell) and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time,” the team said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident.”

Scary situation for Dell, but it looks as if this will have no impact on his off-season program. Dell hit the injured reserve in December due to a fibula but we expect to see him involved in team activities by the time the Summer program wraps up.

Former Lions WR Quintez Cephus, who was reinstated last week after being suspended all of last season for violating the league’s gambling policy, has reached agreement with the Buffalo Bills.

Many expected the Bills to add a couple of pass catchers in the NFL Draft, but beyond Keon Coleman and running back Ray Davis, they stayed mum. Cephus will be allotted a chance to carve out a role on special teams and could operate as the team's WR4/5.

The Buffalo Bills are trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick (via the Vikings).

The Texans also receive a 2025 fifth-round pick and sixth-round pick.

The Texans wide receiver room gets a huge boost, and if Tank Dell is ready for Week 1, they are in the argument for best three-deep set in the league. C.J. Stroud looks primed to build on his incredible rookie season.

As for the Bills, they have now lost Diggs and Gabe Davis this offseason but have only replaced them with Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins. They'll need to be aggressive in the NFL Draft to get Josh Allen another piece.

Cardinals WR Hollywood Brown is signing with the Chiefs, another high-octane target for Patrick Mahomes. One of the most talented WRs available, Brown lands in a perfect spot on a 1-year deal worth up to $11M with a chance to cash in next year.

The first addition for the Chiefs WR room has finally come, in the form of Brown. This is unlikely to be the last piece they add, but the immediate impact is bad news for Skyy Moore and Justin Watson, who technically hold the outside roles as it stands prior to the signing.
Hollywood set a new career high by lining up out wide on 79.8% of his snaps last season, and should offer big-play potential in fantasy. His exact value is going to depend on who else the team targets over the next two months.

Plot twist: The Bengals are now trading Joe Mixon to the Texans, rather than releasing him. So Zack Moss signs in Cincy, Mixon is traded to Houston. From Joe Burrow to C.J. Stroud.

Dameon Pierce has been woefully inefficient with his touches during his first two seasons in Houston, which led to Devin Singletary snatching his job away from him last year. He is unlikely to get in the way of Mixon taking over the majority of the workload. This is a best-possible-scenario for Mixon after leaving the Bengals and brings him right back into fantasy relevance as a pass-catcher on a great offense.

Things are looking good for the healthy Texans skill position players, as well as Stroud suiting up as a top-10 fantasy option for the Fantasy Championships.

Potential good news for the Texans: QB C.J. Stroud, in the NFL's concussion protocol, is expected to practice today. Coach DeMeco Ryans told Stacey Dales on Sunday that Stroud had been in meetings on Friday. "He's definitely making progress." This would be more progress.

This would be fantastic news for Texans skill position players and would also put Stroud back on the map as a top-12 option. We'll keep an eye on his progress throughout the rest of the week.

“No setbacks” for Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill this week — he will practice today and Mike McDaniel says he feels good about him.

This is a good sign for fantasy managers who had to do without last week. Hill looks like he will return to what will very likely be a shootout with the Cowboys. Waddle is back in the WR2 range after his fantastic 8-142-1 performance during his teammate's absence.
