Saquon Barkley will miss Sunday’s game against Carolina with a hamstring injury. Philadelphia also placed Will Shipley on injured reserve with a foot injury. Dameon Pierce is in line to start, with Carson Steele backing him up.

Related Players: Dameon Pierce, Carson Steele, Jaydon Blue, Ian Wheeler, Tank Bigsby, Tanner McKee

Pierce is a viable RB2 based on his opportunity to lead this depleted backfield. Philadelphia’s quarterback change adds uncertainty to its scoring outlook, but Pierce’s expected workload makes him a reasonable replacement for injured starters. Steele is a deep-league handcuff rather than a comfortable FLEX.

Arizona ruled Jeremiyah Love out for Sunday’s game against the Rams with an ankle injury. Tyler Allgeier will start, with Bam Knight backing him up. Mike LaFleur said placing Love on injured reserve has not been discussed.

Related Players: Zonovan Knight, Evan Hull

Allgeier moves into RB2 consideration with a clearer path to carries and goal-line work. Knight is a deeper-league stash or emergency FLEX, with his usefulness dependent on how much work Arizona gives him behind Allgeier. Love should remain rostered; the team has not announced a multi-week absence.

The NFL will remove Packers RB Josh Jacobs from the commissioner exempt list Monday, sources tell The Ringer and Netflix Sports.

Related Players: MarShawn Lloyd, Pierre Strong Jr., Kaleb Johnson, Jordan Love

Jacobs should be rostered wherever available ahead of his potential Week 7 return. His eligibility does not establish how much work he will handle immediately, but he has a path back to meaningful starting value. Lloyd remains a Week 6 option, although managers counting on him beyond Sunday may need another plan.

Tyler Warren was added to Indianapolis’ injury report Friday with a groin injury. He practiced on a limited basis and is questionable for Sunday’s game against Tennessee. Fellow tight end Will Mallory is also questionable with a thumb injury.

Related Players: Mo Alie-Cox, Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, Laquon Treadwell, Deion Burks, Daniel Jones

Warren remains a TE1 if cleared, but a Friday injury makes securing a replacement important. If he (and potentially Mallory) sits, Allen would get a massive PPR boost as a short-area target, and could legitimately be considered a high-end WR3. Downs would also be in that WR2/3 fringe.

Michael Penix Jr. carries no injury designation for Sunday’s game against Chicago and will start. Penix injured his ribs during Atlanta’s Week 5 loss to Baltimore but avoided a setback during the practice week.

Related Players: Drake London, Jahan Dotson, Zachariah Branch, Olamide Zaccheaus, Chris Blair, Kyle Pitts, Austin Hooper, Bijan Robinson, Brian Robinson

Penix is a solid superflex QB2 and a streaming option for managers replacing an injured starter. London remains a strong WR1, and Bijan Robinson is an automatic start. Pitts is still a touchdown-dependent TE2; Penix’s availability alone does not make Atlanta’s secondary pass catchers reliable options in standard-sized leagues. Tagovailoa can stay on waivers outside leagues that roster backup quarterbacks.

The Buccaneers will release their final injury report of the week later on Friday afternoon, but immediately following practice Head Coach Todd Bowles revealed that quarterback Baker Mayfield and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. have been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Related Players: Jalon Daniels, Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst, Tez Johnson, Kameron Johnson, Cade Otton, Bucky Irving, Kenneth Gainwell, Sean Tucker

Daniels’ rushing ability makes him a usable superflex QB2 and an emergency streaming option in one-quarterback leagues. Egbuka remains a WR3/FLEX play, while Godwin is a more volatile PPR FLEX. Otton belongs in the TE2 streaming pool rather than starting lineups by default. Irving remains a viable RB2, but Mayfield’s absence lowers the offense’s passing and scoring ceiling.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is not present during media viewing portion of Friday’s practice, which indicates Tyler Huntley will likely start for the second straight week.

Jackson missed every practice this week and hasn’t suited up since spraining his left ankle in a win over the Titans on Oct. 4.

Huntley has won his last three starts as a fill-in starter for Jackson. In those three victories with Huntley, Baltimore has averaged 33.7 points.

Related Players: Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Ja'Kobi Lane, Devontez Walker, Elijah Sarratt, LaJohntay Wester, Mark Andrews, Matthew Hibner, Josh Cuevas, Derrick Henry, Justice Hill

Jackson’s managers should prepare to use another quarterback. Huntley would be a viable superflex QB2 if he starts, with rushing production providing part of his appeal. Flowers remains a WR2 if cleared from his toe injury, while Andrews would be a touchdown-dependent streamer. Henry remains an RB1 regardless of the quarterback decision.

No Saquon Barkley (hamstring) at practice today. He has missed all week.

DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is practicing again and Dontayvion Wicks (hamstring) returned after missing yesterday.

Related Players: Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore, Dallas Goedert, Zach Ertz, Tanner McKee

Wicks remains a WR3/FLEX possibility if Smith sits and Wicks is cleared for his usual role. A healthy Smith would become Philadelphia’s preferred WR start, with Wicks falling into more volatile WR4/FLEX territory. If both miss, Lemon and Cooper would gain deeper-league appeal, while Goedert would have a stronger TE1 streaming case.

The Browns got some big names back at practice today: Carson Schwesinger, Mason Graham, Quinshon Judkins and Derek Barnett.

Not practicing: Mike Hall, Teven Jenkins, Kalia Davis.

Related Players: Dylan Sampson, Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime

Judkins would remain an RB2 option if cleared for his normal workload, but managers should keep another starter available until his game status is known. If he sits, Sampson’s potential activation would help determine the remaining backfield roles.

A.J. Dillon has been ruled out against Philadelphia with an ankle injury. Trevor Etienne is questionable after practicing fully Friday and still needs activation from IR. Dave Canales said Carolina intends to activate Etienne and will likely promote Tre Tyus from the practice squad to have three running backs available.

Related Players: Chuba Hubbard

Hubbard remains an RB1 option, with Dillon’s absence further securing his workload. Etienne is a speculative bench addition if activated, but managers should wait for evidence of a usable offensive role before putting him in a FLEX spot.
