Jets continue making moves, and here’s another: they reached an agreement today to bring back RB Ty Johnson on a one-year deal.

Related Players: Zonovan Knight, Michael Carter

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson has done most of his work as a third-down receiving threat since joining the Jets in 2020. He's a special teams contributor and shouldn't in any way impede on Breece Hall's snaps.

NYJ RB Ty Johnson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Minnesota Vikings
With Michael Carter injuring his ankle, Ty Johnson amounted 78 yards on just six touches. This puts him on the fantasy map as he is expected to share time with Zonovan Knight. Last week, Knight had 14 carries but that could easily flip this week.

The Jets face the Vikings who are ranked 18th in aFPA to running backs. There is a bit of mystery on how New York will use their running backs, but picking up Johnson this week could be useful. We project him to be a low-end RB3 or Flex for Week 13. If you need a back because of injury or the bye weeks, he could be a good pickup.
