Fantasy Football: Post NFL Draft ADP Risers & Fallers

With Best Ball Mania VI and other small dog lobbies in full swing on Underdog, and other sites also filling best ball drafts more frequently, the monthly ADP risers and fallers article is back. The NFL Draft ended just a week ago, so most, if not all, changes in draft value are courtesy of rookies' landing spots.

Let’s take a look at the biggest risers and fallers at each position over the last week in Underdog drafts, by comparing players’ ADP from April 23rd to May 4th. I’ll go position by position to tease out any relevant players’ spikes or slides over the past week.

Quarterback

QB Risers

Aaron Rodgers, Free Agent (ADP: 211.2, -3.2)

Despite Aaron Rodgers being in no hurry to decide on his 2025 vocation and Steelers' HC Mike Tomlin saying Aaron Rodgers' availability did not affect their NFL Draft strategy, the 41-year-old's draft stock rose the most among QBs over the past week. Pittsburgh did indeed take a QB, Will Howard, in the sixth round—but we have to assume that they are still in communication with Rodgers. For now, we wait.

Caleb Williams, Bears (ADP: 92.6, -1.3)

The Chicago QB came out a winner in the 2025 NFL Draft, as he was given a few new weapons in TE Colston Loveland and WR Luther Burden. These additions murk the pass-catching waters for the Bears, but Caleb Williams should be in a good spot in this new Ben Johnson run offense. The Bears' QB is still an eighth-rounder as the QB8 heading into the summer.

QB Fallers

Sam Darnold, Seahawks (ADP: 180.9, +6.5)

Seattle added Jalen Milroe to their QB room with the 92nd overall pick, and drafters are now letting Sam Darnold slide from the 15th to the 16th round. Darnold will still be the starter, but perhaps the potential for the speedy Milroe to steal some goal-line runs has drafters hesitating. There's also the fact that the former Viking is not married to the team in 2026, so if he does revert to ghost-seeing Darnold, benching is a possibility.

Now the QB28, consider him a best ball and superflex flier with no redraft value other than a bye week fill-in as the season progresses.

Running Backs

RB Risers

Jaydon Blue, Cowboys (ADP: 148.9, -24.2)

The former Longhorn spiked two full rounds over the past week after landing with the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round. Jaydon Blue will likely contribute right away, at least in the passing game, and could work himself into the lead back role, considering he'll only have to best Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, whose best days on the football field seem to be behind them. Blue went from an ADP of 15.05 to 13.05 and is now leaving draft boards as the RB46.

D'Andre Swift, Bears (ADP: 87.2, -19.2)

The rumor mill was churning outa plethora of names for the Bears to add at RB, including Kareem Hunt, back in March, and more recently Omarion Hampton before the NFL Draft. Luckily for D'Andre Swift, Chicago passed on a high pick at the position and only added Kyle Monangai at pick No. 233, a Rutgers product who will have to fight to make the team this summer. Swift should retain the starting role and fantasy RB2 status, and with that near two-round climb, is being drafted as the RB28 at pick 8.03 in Underdog formats.

RB Fallers

Jerome Ford, Browns (ADP: 181.3, +21.9)

Cleveland added two fresh RBs last week in Quinshon Judkins (2nd round) and Dylan Sampson (4th round), which put a big damper on Jerone Ford's fantasy value in 2025. The 25-year-old fell nearly two full rounds after last weekend's festivities, and is now in fantasy RB5 territory as the RB55 on Underdog, leaving the board at pick 16.01.

Najee Harris, Chargers (ADP: 100.0, +17.5)

The former Steeler was the lead back in LA for a few weeks, but they went and drafted Omarion Hampton to crush any hopes of a fantasy revival for Najee Harris. Despite John Harbaugh stating that they plan on making their RB room a "1-2 punch" with Hampton alongside Najee Harris this season, and that GM Joe Hortiz added, "He brings that same type of mentality Najee brings. Like I said last week, we're looking for someone who complements but also offers the same", Underdog drafters aren't buying it. Harris slid 18 draft spots from 7.11 to 9.04 in just one week.

Wide Receivers

WR Risers

Jack Bech, Raiders ( ADP: 131.8, -18.5)

The Raiders had a WR problem and selected a solid prospect in Jack Bech to hopefully solve it. The Raiders have the fifth-most available targets (174), and Bech could be the third in line for passes behind Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers, with the upside of replacing Meyers as a legitimate possibility. He's climbed into the 11th round over the last week but is still a solid value as a fantasy WR6, since his floor is more of a WR4/5, particularly in any scoring format with points for receptions, and he could even sneak into WR3 land if he gels well with Geno Smith and adapts quickly to NFL play.

Jalen Tolbert, Cowboys (ADP: 169.3, - 14.6)

Are we finally going to see Jalen Tolbert's breakout? After drafting him somewhere for the last three years, I sure hope this is it. His one-round jump in ADP is likely due to the Cowboys not drafting another WR in 2025, leaving Tolbert to lineup with CeeDee Lamb and, I guess, Jonathan Mingo. Despite a rise of 14.6 ADP spots, Tolbert is still in fantasy WR6 territory and could outproduce that this year, especially with updated protection for Dak Prescott in 2025.

WR Fallers

Jalen McMillan, Buccaneers (ADP: 140.5, +17.7)

The Bucs had to go and ruin Jalen McMillan's fantasy value by drafting Emeka Egbuka in the first round. He already had his work cut out for him with both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin still on the roster, but now the rookie will also be in the mix as a pass-catching weapon for Baker Mayfield. It will be interesting to see what Tampa Bay does with Egbuka, since he spent most of his time in the slot where Godwin lives, but a big breakout for McMillan is likely not in the cards after last week's draft. He's still draftable as a WR6/7 in best ball formats but isn't anywhere near the redraft conversation.

Dontayvion Wicks, Packers ( ADP: 194.2 +16.5)

The Packers finally drafted a WR in the first round, but the presence of Matthew Golden makes things cloudy once again for the Green Bay WR room. Jayden Reed will likely man the slot, but an outside rotation between Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, Golden, and Christian Watson upon return from injury is rough for fantasy managers to navigate in 2025. Wicks fell 16.5 spots in ADP over the last week to the 16/17 turn and is now leaving draft boards as the WR81.

Tight Ends

TE Risers

Mason Taylor, Jets (ADP: 184.4, -14.8)

With a clear path to targets behind Garrett Wilson, the RBs, and Josh Reynolds, Mason Taylor's landing spot in New York caused a 14.8 spike in Underdog ADP. The Jets’ OC Tanner Engstrand spent the last two years with the Lions as their passing game coordinator, so we can look to the success of Sam LaPorta as a possible guidepost.

With Justin Fields under center, their offense may lend itself more towards Taylor. While it doesn't always translate between teams, when Fields was under center in Chicago in 2022, Cole Kmet led the team in both targets and receiving yards. Currently a 16th-rounder as a TE3, Taylor could surprise with fantasy TE2 production.

Colston Loveland, Bears ( ADP: 109.9, -7.0)

He joins a crowded Bears passing game, but Colston Loveland landed on a Ben Johnson-coached team that will likely run more 12 personnel with the presence of the rookie in Chicago. Loveland climbed draft boards by just over half a round in the past week to the 10.02 spot as the TE9.

TE Fallers

Cole Kmet, Bears (ADP: 213.2, +19.1)

With Loveland's rise, we see Cole Kmet plummet nearly two full rounds to the 18th and final round of Underdog best ball drafts. RIP.

Harold Fannin, Browns (ADP: 214.0, +8.0)

The landing spot is gross for Harold Fannin as he now has to compete with David Njoku with a questionable QB situation. Fannin is nothing more than a TE3 and a last-round stab for best ball purposes.
