Even before the injuries to Tyquan Thornton and fellow receiver Rashee Rice on Sunday, the Chiefs had already shown interest in signing wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who is a free agent.

Following Sunday's game, a team source said "we've remained in contact" with Hill and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The Chiefs believe Hill is targeting a November return. Hill has been disappearing off wires since the news picked up some steam over the last couple of weeks. The downside is roster spots are valuable, so you'll have to carry Hill for possibly a month before being able to possibly plug him in lineups. Thornton suffered a dislocated ankle, which was popped back into place, according to the story. Rice suffered a hamstring injury and the story made it seem like he wanted to return to the game, but was held out for precaution, which is great news. The story added HC Andy Reid didn't seem too concerned about Rice's injury. All that said, we'll have to monitor injury reports for Rice this week to hopefully get a better idea of his status for Week 6. Keep in mind, the Chiefs have a bye in Week 5.

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, who has been on injured reserve after suffering another hamstring injury, is said to be making progress and feeling good but is still considered to be weeks away from returning to action, league sources told ESPN.

The Saints are taking a patient, long-term approach with Tyson, who is not likely to return until Week 7 at the earliest, according to league sources.

As the story points out, Week 7 presents some logistical complications, as the Saints are scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Steelers that week in Paris. It's hard to imagine Tyson returning that week with the Saints having a bye in Week 8 before a home game in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns. So, Week 9 seems much more logical. The story added the will be medical checkpoints for Tyson to clear soon, and the Saints are pleased with where he's at in his recovery.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his ankle today.

Jackson left Week 4's game against the Titans and never returned. The hope is the Ravens were just being cautious for their star QB, but that remains to be seen. Schefter added that Jackson left the stadium Sunday in a walking boot, but reports after the game said Jackson would be day to day. To make things more complicated for owners, Jackson and the Ravens play in Atlanta on Sunday night in Week 5. There are likely to be a lot of Jackson updates this week, however, so hopefully we get a better indication of his status as the week goes on. That will start with his MRI results from today.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is considered "day-to-day" with an ankle injury suffered during Sunday's win over the Titans.

The injury doesn't seem serious at all, especially considering head coach Jesse Minter said the team even contemplated putting Jackson back in the game. Jackson was spotted in a walking boot after the game, but he still looks to have a chance to not miss any time. The Ravens visit the Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 5.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley left Sunday’s game against the Rams with a hamstring injury.

Barkley was left the game early in the first quarter, was originally ruled questionable to return, but now will not return to the game. Tank Bigsby will lead the rushing attack for the time being, with Will Shipley mixed in.

Commanders QB Marcus Mariota is expected to miss time with an MCL injury.

Molly McGrath reported that Mariota will have tests done on his knee after aggravating the injury early in the game against the Colts. Rookie Athan Kaliakmanis took over at quarterback. The Commanders are hoping to get Jayden Daniels back next week. We’ll have more as this story develops.

The Seahawks are placing rookie running back Jadarian Price on injured reserve with a chest injury.

Price aggravated the injury in practice this week. He now will miss at least the next four games. He is eligible to return on November 2 against the Bears. Emanuel Wilson and George Holani will lead the backfield for the time being, and Zach Charbonnet can return in Week 5 and his practice window was opened on Thursday. The Seahawks' backfield is about to get very muddy for fantasy purposes. For this week, Wilson is RB22 and Holani is RB28 in half-PPR.

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin is unlikely to play Sunday against the Colts in London with a hamstring injury.

McLaurin, who injured his hamstring Friday, was hopeful to be able to play through the injury Sunday, but that now looks unlikely. Stefon Diggs likely assumes the top target role but also keep an eye on rookie Antonio Williams, who impressed in Week 1 and just needs more opportunities on the field, which he now stands to get Sunday.

The Colts downgraded WR Keenan Allen (groin) to out for Sunday’s game against the Commanders in London.

Allen was originally listed as limited with a rest designation on Wednesday, but had his status downgraded as the week wore out, eventually getting the groin injury tag Thursday and missing practice Friday. He was originally listed as questionable but will now be held out of Sunday’s game overseas. With the host of injuries at the wide receiver position, Josh Downs could be in line for a very good day in London. Remember, this game kicks off at 9:30 AM EST.

Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell, Dylan Parham, Mason Taylor, Kiko Mauigoa are out for Sunday

Related Players: Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis, Kenyon Sadiq, Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell

Allen moves into the RB2/flex range as the favorite to handle early downs and scoring opportunities. Davis should also have a role but remains a deeper option. Taylor’s absence keeps Sadiq in the TE1 conversation after his 7-105-1 performance last week, while Mitchell’s absence further consolidates the passing game around Wilson.
