Since then, Zonovan Knight has emerged as the Jets’ most talented running back. He’s earned a full-time role, one he’ll keep even when Michael Carter returns from an ankle injury that knocked him out of Sunday’s loss to the Vikings. Knight totaled 103 yards — plus another 18 as a kick returner — against the Bears in his debut, and that wasn’t a fluke.
The story said the Jets have always liked Knight's skills and were grooming Knight for a role later in the season, despite being inactive for several games early on. So that time is now. It sounds like Knight will continue to have fantasy value this year, and at least split work when Carter is back in the lineup. Those thinking ahead and wondering about next year may realize it's looking like a crowded backfield when Hall is back for 2023.
NYJ RB Breece Hall - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 7 at Denver Broncos
Breece Hall reached the 20-carry mark for the first time in his short NFL career. He also has 19+ touches in three straight games. Last week, he ended up with 116 rushing yards for the first time in his career and scored a touchdown for the third straight game. His stock is rising.
Hall will face the Broncos who are ranked 8th in aFPA to running backs. He is still playing about 2/3 of the snaps but has become the workhorse of the Jets offense in recent weeks.
Start Hall as a high-end RB2 for Week 7. If it wasn't for the tough matchup, he might be ranked higher, but he should still have some good numbers for your team.
