The Raiders made a big change to their offense when they fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy last week, but they aren’t planning any big moves this week.

Head coach Antonio Pierce said at his Monday press conference that Gardner Minshew will remain the team’s starting quarterback against the Broncos in Week 12. Minshew was 30-of-43 for 282 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in Sunday’s 34-19 loss to the Dolphins.

Pierce said he thought the passing offense was “more efficient” and “more crisp” in Scott Turner’s first week calling the offensive plays, the story said. He added that Minshew did a “good job of managing” the offense and keeping the ball out of harm’s way before being picked off while trying to push for a comeback late in the fourth quarter, the story added. O'Connell won't come off the IR for another week but could very well jump back into the starting role once he's ready to go.

Hopkins has shown a good connection with Patrick Mahomes right out of the gate, so we should keep him in WR3 territory, even with Smith-Schuster back in the lineup. The other KC WR options are desperation boom/bust plays in Week 11.

Sources: Chiefs are signing kicker Spencer Shrader off the Jets practice squad and placing kicker Harrison Butker on injured reserve due to a knee injury.

Formerly of the Colts and Jets, Shrader has made both of his attempted field goals and all three of his XPs. He's likely a fine streamer if you missed out on waiver runs.

Minshew is —quite impressively— the QB38 in FPPG (8.3), with four separate performances under 8 fantasy points. He can remain on benches in all formats.

The quarterback play has been terrible, and the Raiders are expected to make the change to Desmond Ridder after Gardner Minshew II was benched for a third time this season.

O'Connell is expected to miss 4-6 weeks and is on IR. He could return in December based on that timeline, but for Week 11, it looks like the Raiders are going with Ridder against the Dolphins. Ridder was just recently signed off the wire and made his debut in relief of Minshew when we last saw the Raiders in Week 9. Ridder likely won't make an impact as the starter, but the hope is the offense continues to target Bowers at TE and Meyers at WR so their fantasy stock remains steady.

The Chiefs are planning to designate RB Isiah Pacheco and DL Charles Omenihu to return from IR this week.

The 9-0 Chiefs, the last remaining undefeated team, are starting to get healthier. A scary sight.

Pacheco's return date has been said to be around late November, and we're getting to that point and he seems to be on pace. Pacheco was the team's RB1 before getting hurt. Pacheco will likely be eased back into action, but it will be interesting to see what the Chiefs do with their RBs once they feel Pacheco is back up to speed.

According to the rest of the article, Reid said Smith-Schuster is the closest of the three. He’s missed the last three games with a hamstring injury and will try to get on the practice field ahead of the Week 11 trip to Buffalo. The story added Pacheco fractured his fibula in Week 2 and has not been designated for return from injured reserve yet. Other recent reports have said Pacheco could be back by the end of November.

Looks like it'll be another lost week for JuJu, which puts both Worthy (low) and Hopkins (high) on the WR3 radar against the Denver secondary.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes injured his ankle while throwing a touchdown pass on Monday night, but he stayed in the game and said afterward that he’s fine.

“Definitely scary,” Mahomes said. “I think it hurt more, just because it’s the same ankle I rolled last week, so it scared me a little bit, but once I took a breath and calmed down a little bit, it ended up not being too bad. We went in there, got a re-spat and went back on the football field.”

Mahomes said he had to argue with both the trainers and coach Andy Reid to assure them he was fine, the story said. Mahomes added he wanted to jog off the field but wasn't allowed. It was a scary moment for fantasy owners who saw Mahomes throw for three TDs in the game. And, his stock seems to be on the rise with the addition of WR DeAndre Hopkins. Mahomes seems like he'll be good to go, but if anything, this is maybe a reminder for Mahomes' owners to back him up on rosters by adding Wentz, especially in deeper, two QB or superflex leagues.

The Raiders are fresh off firing some coaches to start the week, including their OC Luke Getsy. Pierce hasn't yet decided on a play caller, and so an announcement at QB may come after that decision. The Raiders have a bye in Week 10 so they will have some time to sort everything out. With O'Connell on IR, there isn't much reason to stick with Minshew, however the team just recently signed Ridder, so it's possible he gets a chance with the offense once the team is back in action in Week 11.
