Jets rookie WR Omar Cooper Jr. is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's win over the Titans.

Cooper will undergo an MRI Monday to determine the extent of the injury and how much time he will miss. Cooper hauled in his lone target for 30 yards. Depending on the severity of the injury, Cooper could be a short-term injured reserve candidate. Garrett Wilson (6-79) and Adonai Mitchell (3-60) led the way in the passing game for the Jets while fellow rookie Kenyon Sadiq caught three passes and had a rushing touchdown in the win.

Vikings QB Kyler Murray is being evaluated for a concussion.

Update: Murray is now out for the remainder of the game.

Murray took a hard hit about midway through the first quarter as he sliding. Packers cornerback Javon Bullard was flagged for unnecessary roughness as a result. We’ll have more information as it comes in. For now, Carson Wentz is in at quarterback.

The Raiders believe there is a chance TE Brock Bowers will return in Week 2 following his meniscus trim.

Fantasy owners were surprised when news broke earlier in the week that Bowers had this operation and could miss some time. But if he feels well enough, he will likely be back next week against the Chargers. This would be best-case scenario for the Raiders to get their star tight end back. In the meantime, Michael Mayer is an intriguing streaming option for Sunday against the Dolphins.

The Cowboys placed running back Malik Davis on injured reserve with a hip injury.

It is still unknown if Davis will return to action this season. There is a chance his season is already over. For now, the Cowboys have added former Jets running back Israel Abanikanda to their active roster from the practice squad and also have Emari Demercado behind Javonte Williams.

The Packers and tight end Tucker Kraft agreed to terms on a four-year extension worth up to $92 million Saturday.

The base extension is worth $75 million and includes a $26 million signing bonus. Kraft will average $19.66 million over the first three new years of the deal, a deal that now runs through the 2030 season. Kraft has worked his way back from a torn ACL and is not on the injury report as he gets set for Sunday’s opener against the Vikings. If he stays healthy, Kraft could end up being one of the best value picks in fantasy football this season.

Cowboys chief operating officer Stephen Jones said on 105.3 "The Fan" on Friday that Davis had a "pretty serious" injury and could be out for a while.

"Unfortunately, I think he's looking at a pretty serious injury that could take him out for some period of time," Jones said. "We don't have the final details, we'll know more, but certainly so disappointed for Malik. Obviously tough for our team, but like anything it's next man up."

Williams loses the primary threat to his workload and could now handle more passing-down and change-of-pace work in addition to his established early-down role. Demercado becomes the immediate backup and a deep-league contingency stash, while Abanikanda will likely be elevated for Sunday. Davis can be dropped in most redraft leagues while the Cowboys determine the full extent of his injury.

Sources: RB D’Andre Swift and the Chicago Bears have reached agreeement on a 3-year, $33.75 million extension that includes $27.5M guaranteed. This is now Swift’s third NFL contract. Trevon Smith and David Mulugheta of Athletes First and the Bears just wrapped up the deal with the regular season’s start looming.

The extension does not alter Swift’s immediate outlook, but the guaranteed money reinforces his position atop Chicago’s backfield beyond 2026. Monangai can still earn a complementary role, though the deal creates a considerably higher long-term obstacle to his emergence as the Bears’ lead back.

Rome Odunze is officially questionable with a calf injury after remaining limited throughout the practice week. The receiver said he is “ready to go,” although Bears head coach Ben Johnson acknowledged the team could exercise caution early in a long season.

Odunze appears more likely than not to play, but three consecutive limited practices leave some risk of a restricted workload or aggravation. He is a volatile flex at his current ranking. Alvin Kamara is officially questionable for Sunday’s opener against Detroit, but he progressed from limited practices Wednesday and Thursday to full participation Friday. Moore subsequently described the veteran running back as “ready to go.”

Kamara’s full practice suggests he will play, but his long layoff and uncertain initial workload make him extremely difficult to trust in Week 1 lineups. Etienne is still the clear option in the Saints backfield until proven otherwise.

Dan Quinn said every player on Washington’s 53-man roster has been cleared to face Philadelphia. That includes Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who was limited Wednesday and Thursday with a groin injury.
