We currently rank Pacheco 11th on our RB list and project him for 45 receptions this season. The Chiefs really didn't address their RB room so Pacheco leads the way over CEH and Prince.

The former second-round pick has had a difficult time carving out a role in Kansas City, hauling in only 43 receptions across his first two seasons. Undraftable in typical season-long leagues, Moore would be a Dynasty drop as well if he leaves one of the best offensive situations in the NFL.

Travis Kelce turns 35 in October and acknowledged he's a lot closer to the end of his football career than the beginning. But he said he's not planning on 2024 being his final season.

"I love coming to work every single day and doing this, so I am going to do it until the wheels fall off and hopefully that doesn't happen anytime soon,'' Kelce said after the Kansas City Chiefs' minicamp practice Tuesday.

Kansas City has added insurance here and there over the years since their offense is so TE-friendly, but as long as Kelce is on the field he is going to be a driving force to the team. His regular season workload could very well decline, but that still makes him a huge asset in fantasy.

Veteran WR Mecole Hardman is re-signing with the Chiefs on a one-year deal, per source. A hero in Super Bowl LVIII after a brief stint with the Jets, Hardman is back in Kansas City.

Hardman finished with 33 targets in eight games during his last stint with the Chiefs, so he doesn't have much standalone value. He puts the squeeze on the back-half of the rotation, though.

With the Chiefs kicking off their organized team activities today, WR Rashee Rice will be attending and participating in all activities.

Rice is dealing with legal issues, including a hit-and-run and an assault charge. We assume that he will be suspended, but the length of that suspension is still up in the air. What looked to be a promising sophomore season is now in question, making him a tough click on fantasy draft boards as it stands.

The Chiefs are signing backup QB Carson Wentz, most recently of the Rams.

This is just about the best landing spot you could have asked for. Wentz should be scooped off of waiver wires in deep, Superflex Dynasty leagues if he's out there.

Cardinals WR Hollywood Brown is signing with the Chiefs, another high-octane target for Patrick Mahomes. One of the most talented WRs available, Brown lands in a perfect spot on a 1-year deal worth up to $11M with a chance to cash in next year.

The first addition for the Chiefs WR room has finally come, in the form of Brown. This is unlikely to be the last piece they add, but the immediate impact is bad news for Skyy Moore and Justin Watson, who technically hold the outside roles as it stands prior to the signing.
Hollywood set a new career high by lining up out wide on 79.8% of his snaps last season, and should offer big-play potential in fantasy. His exact value is going to depend on who else the team targets over the next two months.

Bengals free-agent tight end Irv Smith Jr. reached agreement a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cincinnati seemed like a positive landing spot for Smith last season but fantasy goodness did not come to fruition. This impacts Noah Gray dynasty shares more than it does Travis Kelce's immediate outlook.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday against the Bengals.

Pacheco suffered the injury during the second half Monday against the Raiders but will end up not missing any games as a result. The Chiefs will have their leading rusher available in Week 17 as they look to clinch their 8th straight AFC West title Sunday. Pacheco moves right back into being a top-12 running back option this week against a Bengals team that has sorely missed defensive tackle D.J. Reader.

The Chiefs activated WR Mecole Hardman from injured reserve.

Hardman had his questionable designation removed and is expected to play Sunday against the Bengals. This will be his first game action since late November. Hardman will step in with Kadarius Toney out this week. Chances are Hardman won’t make enough of an impact to be fantasy relevant, given his lengthy absence and where we are in the fantasy season.
