Chiefs elevate RB Keaontay Ingram from practice squad, place Isiah Pacheco on IR

The Chiefs have signed RB Keaontay Ingram to the active roster, Kareem Hunt to the practice squad and placed RB Isiah Pacheco on Injured Reserve, among other moves.

Related Players: Carson Steele, Samaje Perine

Fantasy Impact:

This is going to be a difficult RB rotation to project as we head in sort of blind into Week 3. The best guess is that Steele will handle early-down work, with Perine taking care of most of the third downs, and Ingram will rotate in for a handful of snaps. We currently have Steele and Perine ranked as low-end RB3s.

KC RB Isiah Pacheco - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Carson Steele was a nice story in the preseason, but so far, this is still Isiah Pacheco's backfield. Pacheco played 43/54 snaps in Week 1, Samaje Perine played just eight, and Steele saw five. Pacheco totaled 78 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens and now faces a Bengals team that got gashed last week by Rhamondre Stevenson. Pacheco is a strong start this week.
