Fantasy Football ADP Risers & Fallers: June

At this point in the summer, most ADP movement is still ripples from the NFL Draft, along with coach speak and murmurs from OTA off-season workouts. Of course, we can’t forget about photos featuring jacked players, either.

Let’s take a look at the biggest risers and fallers at each position over the last month in Underdog drafts, by comparing players’ ADP from May 3rd to June 3rd. I’ll go position by position to tease out any relevant players’ spikes or slides.

Quarterback

QB Risers

Dak Prescott, Cowboys (ADP: 116.6, -15.7)

There's a new weapon at his disposal, as the Cowboys traded for WR George Pickens in early May. Dallas beat writer Nick Harris also tweeted that Dak Prescott "does not look like he’s fresh off a hamstring injury" after observing Cowboys' OTAs. A healthy Prescott with a guy able to circus catch has the QB's ADP up a round and a half over the last month. Prescott is up to pick 10.9 as the QB14, and is currently QB17 in 4for4's early ranks.

Tyler Shough, Saints (ADP: 206.3, -7.8)

The QB competition is far from over for the Saints, but Derek Carr's retirement announcement on May 10th is likely the culprit for some of Tyler Shough's upward movement. New Orleans Football's Nick Underhill reported that Spencer Rattler has made some growth (as he should) and that this QB situation is certainly worth monitoring moving forward. Shough is still a last-round best ball selection and not on the radar in redraft leagues heading into the 2025 season.

QB Fallers

Cam Ward, Titans (ADP: 166.6, +12.9)

Nothing crazy happened since Cam Ward was selected first overall by the Titans to cause a full round slide in ADP. He and Will Levis split reps during the second phase of the team’s offseason activities back at the end of May, but HC Brian Callahan said that would likely change during OTAs. Ward should be under center when the dust settles, but shouldn't be considered more than a QB2 for our purposes.

Running Back

RB Risers

Will Shipley, Eagles (ADP: 177.9, -20.3)

With Kenneth Gainwell in Pittsburgh and only A.J. Dillon added this offseason, Shipley is in a great spot to see some volume behind Saquon Barkley in 2025. Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski wrote back on 5/21, "My understanding is that the Eagles were very encouraged by what they saw from Will Shipley during practice throughout the season and in games, and they are confident he can fill Kenny Gainwell's role as the two-minute offense back/RB2." Underdog drafters seem to agree as he's risen nearly two rounds up boards over the last four weeks to spot 15.12 as the RB54. He's not viable in redraft formats, but could be nice as a late-round handcuff or part of an Eagles stack in best ball.

Jaydon Blue, Cowboys (ADP: 132.1, -16.8)

The landing spot was primo for Jaydon Blue as he joined one of the thinnest RB rooms in the NFL. The rookie may not pop right away, but it's tough to think that he won't outperform Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams at some point in 2025. Blue has climbed from the 13th round up to 11.12 since early May and is now the 41st back taken. There is still some value despite the spike, as he's currently RB36 in 4for4's half-PPR ranks.

RB Fallers

Dylan Sampson & Jerome Ford, Browns (ADP: 199.5 & 207.5, +34.2 & +26.3)

These two will likely cannibalize each other behind rookie Quinshon Judkins, which more than likely caused their two-plus round slide. Of course, training camp will be key to observing the pecking order for the Browns' RBs, as we all know things can change based on pre-season performance. Both Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford are now being drafted as fantasy RB5/6s, and 4for4 has them ranked as RB51 and RB68, respectively.

Wide Receivers

WR Risers

Pat Bryant, Broncos ( ADP: 174.7, -27.3)

The rookie's ADP has spiked over two rounds since being drafted by the Broncos, as HC Sean Payton made some Michael Thomas comparisons in his post-draft press conference. Proceed with caution, though, as it may be tough to crack fantasy relevance with Marvin Mims, Devaughn Vele, and Troy Franklin all in the mix for targets behind Courtland Sutton, with Evan Engram at TE. Bryant's new ADP is WR73, so he is still affordable for those best ball swings, but is not on the redraft radar.

George Pickens, Cowboys (ADP: 53.2, -23.5)

After being traded to Dallas, George Pickens has climbed two full rounds in Underdog ADP up to 5.05. Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer has expressed a maturity he's observed in the former Steeler WR, particularly in meetings, which only helps build confidence in drafting him as the fantasy WR3 he's currently leaving boards as. As the WR2 for Dak Prescott and a player capable of incredible catches, Pickens could sneak into WR2 territory in 2025 and is especially juicy for those best-ball spike weeks.

WR Fallers

Jalen Tolbert, Cowboys (ADP: 213.6, +44.5)

After climbing more than a full round in ADP post-draft when the Cowboys neglected to add a WR, Jalen Tolbert has now fallen nearly four rounds after Pickens was dealt to Dallas in May. Tolbert's cup of coffee as the WR2 is over, and he's now nothing more than a final-round stab in best ball.

Keenan Allen, FA (ADP: 187.8, +18.9)

The more time that goes by with Keenan Allen unemployed, the more his draft stock falls. Allen has slid down a round and a half over the last four weeks to his current 16.08 draft spot as the WR77. He should find a home in the near future when things begin to shake out at training camps around the league, but it's difficult to invest in a player when you don't know who he'll be catching balls from in 2025.

Tight Ends

TE Risers

All five of the top risers in TE ADP over the last month are veterans with no real news or situations that would call for a spike in draft capital. Evan Engram is the only fantasy TE1 in the mix, and he rose a half of a round to teh 10.01 as the TE9. The other four guys are all TE2/3 and are only viable options for best ball formats.

TE Fallers

Jonnu Smth, Dolphins (ADP: 101.9, +4.8)

On May 29th, Adam Schefter reported that the Steelers were in talks with the Dolphins for a possible deal for Jonnu Smith, which likely affected his ADP. Then on June 2nd, Smith's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stated that Smith "would definitely like to stay in Miami". The very next day, Schefter tweeted that Pittsburgh is no longer interested in Smith at 7:35 AM ET, but then sent out another tweet at 3:50 PM ET that "the trade between the Steelers and Dolphins is still alive". Stay tuned, I guess.
