Kellen Moore says that Saints rookie RB Devin Neal will miss “a couple weeks” with a hamstring injury.

Related players: Alvin Kamara, Kendre Miller, Cam Akers, Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Neal was hoping to earn the team's RB2 role behind Kamara, but missing that much time likely will cost him that job for now. Miller looks to be the favorite, but he'll need to fend off some familiar names in Akers and CEH.

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy, who left yesterday’s practice after banging his head, is in the NFL’s concussion protocol, per coach Andy Reid.

Related Players: Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, Skyy Moore, Jalen Royals, JuJu Smith-Schuster

This comes just a day after Brown left practice with an ankle injury, signaling an all-around tough practice for the squad yesterday. With Rice potentially missing a portion of the season due to suspension, the Chiefs can't afford to be missing either Brown or Worthy for any time. Let's hope for a speedy recovery for both receivers, or it's going to be a sneaky bounce back season for TE Travis Kelce.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid says WR Hollywood Brown left practice with an ankle injury.

"I don't think it's too bad, but we'll see."

Reid says WR Xavier Worthy "banged his head."

Looks like a bad day at the office for the WR room. With Rice potentially missing a portion of the season due to suspension, the Chiefs can't afford to be missing either Brown or Worthy for any time. We'll keep an eye on things, but it's obviously a good sign that Reid doesn't seem overly concerned.

Justin Fields is participating in the 11-on-11 during walkthrough — it’s basically a jog though. TBD on if he’s full go. But he’s on a good track.

Related Players: Tyrod Taylor, Adrian Martinez

This is a good sign after last week's toe injury scare, as there's still plenty of time to get him all the way up to full speed. Projecting high passing totals will be a little iffy, but we know what kind of floor he creates with his legs, making him a fringe QB1 option.

Running back order of touch during rush period: Pacheco, Mitchell, Hunt, Smith, Steele

Related Players: Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, Brashard Smith, Carson Steele

We'll see if this is just to get the team some more looks at Mitchell or if this will last into the season, but it's a good sign nonetheless. Smith is likely to start off as an explosive passing-down option and nothing else, while we all know what Hunt is at this point in his career.

Mitchell would be an RB5 option if he ends up leapfrogging Hunt.

Notable that Justin Fields is not walking with a limp and seems to be moving around ok.

Good news for Fields' availability through the rest of camp, but they may end up limiting his action in contact drills for a bit. Unless something changes, we should keep him right in line with where we had him ranked before this injury scare.

Justin Fields sustained a dislocated toe in his right foot and will be day-to-day. Fields avoided serious injury and significant missed time.

Great news out of Jets camp, as we all know how valuable Fields can be as a fantasy player when he's suited up. We'll keep an eye on the situation, but this doesn't seem like it will impact his Week 1 status.

Justin Fields is being carted inside after limping off and being checked by a trainer. Not great.

Related Players: Tyrod Taylor, Adrian Martinez

Not a good start for Fields' Jets tenure, but he was at least walking prior to this, so hopefully it's more of a precaution than anything. We'll keep an eye on it moving forward, but veteran Tyrod Taylor would be next in line if this is more serious than just rolling an ankle.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will be a full participant at training camp, coach Andy Reid said, after Rice was sentenced to five years of deferred probation and 30 days in jail as a condition of his probation last week.

“We’re going to progress as normal with (Rice),” Reid said Sunday after the Chiefs arrived at Missouri Western State University’s campus for training camp. “He’ll go in and take all the reps that he’ll normally take. We always rotate that position, so depending on what happens here with the future, whoever needs to play will step in and know what they are doing and be in good shape to do it.”

Reid said he did not know when the NFL would decide on a potential suspension for Rice, the story went on to say. It added that last Thursday, Rice pleaded guilty in a Dallas County court to two third-degree felony charges, including a collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury.

ESPN sources: A Dallas County judge just sentenced Chiefs WR Rashee Rice to five years probation and 30 days of jail time that can be served during those five years stemming for his role in a multi-car crash in Dallas during the 2024 offseason.

Now that the judge has ruled, the NFL can expedite its disciplinary process and Rice is likely to receive a multi-game suspension.

We'll keep an eye on things to determine whether a "multi-game suspension" equates to two, four, or six, but regardless, it would be an obvious blow to his fantasy bottom line if that comes in 2025. If/when that decision comes down, it would open up the middle of the field for Kelce, where the two have operated in recent history. If Rice's ADP drops precipitously over a two-game suspension in the middle of the season, he'll start to be an even bigger target in drafts.
