The Falcons are signing Bears WR Darnell Mooney, giving them a key new playmaker for Kirk Cousins. Mooney gets a 3-year, $39M deal with $26M fully guaranteed.

This gives Atlanta a nice tertiary piece in a wide receiver room that is barren outside of Drake London at the moment. It may not be at No. 8, but there's no chance the Falcons leave the draft without at least one wide receiver after getting Kirk Cousins. Mooney's fantasy outlook will hinge on how many more guys they add between now and Week 1.

Veteran RB Austin Ekeler is signing with the Commanders on a two-year deal worth up to $11.43 million.

The Brian Robinson bellcow role lasted about two hours, but the Commanders backs have company now. Ekeler had clearly lost a step last season, but a veteran pass-catching presence in the backfield will be an obvious plus. Ekeler should carve out a role that puts him in RB2 conversation, while Robinson holds onto a goal-line role that makes him almost as fantasy viable.

Former Commanders' running back Antonio Gibson is expected to join the Patriots.

The Patriots backfield looks like it's going to be an absolute nightmare for fantasy purposes, as part of one of the worst offenses in the league. Gibson shouldn't be more than a late-round dart.

This should leave Brian Robinson as the bellcow in Washington.

Limited in practice with left thumb and quad injuries, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa won't be held back from an AFC heavyweight clash on Sunday.

Tagovailoa will start in the Dolphins' Week 17 tilt against the Baltimore Ravens, head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Friday.

The good news is, we've gotten the all-go for Tua, but the bad news is, he'll be without Jaylen Waddle in what could be a tough matchup. The QB will be hard to trust in typical leagues' Championship Game, but is still a great play in Superflex leagues.

After a key injury to Brian Robinson, we got to see a little bit more of the rookie, including a two-touchdown in Week 16, which was nice for dynasty owners who took a stab in rookie drafts. There's a chance that Antonio Gibson gets a huge workload ahead of a touch matchup against the 49ers in Week 17.

Chris Rodriguez took a surprising amount of early-down work last week, and should have a decent RB3 role, particularly in Standard or point-per-carry leagues. Gibson should maintain the pass-catching role and be an asset in half-PPR leagues as an RB3 in his own right.

DeVonta Smith hadn’t been practicing in full because of a knee injury. This latest inclusion on the report is for a new knee injury he suffered in the game.

A.J. Brown could me in for a monster workload as the Eagles begin the easiest stretch of their season. None of the receiving options behind him should be trusted if Smith were to miss this week.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor returns to practice at full speed for the first time since thumb surgery. Whether he plays on Sunday will be determined by how he holds up.

"You've definitely got to see it full speed at practice for sure," Taylor said today.

With Zack Moss potentially looking at a multi-week absence, we have to assume Taylor will be getting a huge workload ahead of Sermon and Goodson, which makes him an RB1 option against the Falcons if he suits up.

Colts coach Shane Steichen told reporters that RB Jonathan Taylor is progressing well and will participate in the walk-through today (as he's done the last few weeks).

There remains optimism that Taylor will go this week, but he'll be evaluated on a daily basis.

The Colts backfield is an abject mess for fantasy purposes right now, with Moss also pushing to play after injuring his shoulder last week. As of right now, we should be trying to avoid all of the pieces until we get some form of confirmation on Taylor/Moss, or what the workload may look like for Sermon/Goodson.

Colts running back Zack Moss exited Saturday’s game against the Steelers with a shoulder injury, but he’s optimistic about playing on Sunday against the Falcons.

Moss’s X-rays were negative and he plans to try to play on Sunday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. With Moss and Taylor hurt, Sermon and Goodson filled in more than capably. Even if Moss can't go this week, the team could have Taylor back, so that's a situation to monitor as well as the week goes on.
