“I don’t know the chances yet [of Lamar Jackson playing],” head coach Jesse Minter said in his Monday press conference. “We’re still gathering a lot of the information, imaging, things like that. Just dealing with a little bit of an ankle. We’ll kind of see where that shakes out.

PFT said in the story they reported Sunday after the game Jackson was week to week, which puts his status in doubt for Week 5. But the good news is the team doesn't seem to think it will be long term. “I really don’t think it’s going to be crazy long term,” Minter said in the story. “But, we’ll see what happens.” Jackson left the game late in the second quarter and had completed 15-of-20 passes for 222 yards with two touchdowns already. If Jackson can't go, Huntley would be in line to start.

Zac says Ja'Marr Chase is still in protocol and they'll take him and Tee day to day.

Related players: Tee Higgins, Dohnte Meyers, Colbie Young, Mitchell Tinsley, Mike Gesicki, Chase Brown

Given players in protocol typically miss the next week, it doesn't look good for Chase right now. But he'll need to be monitored. Higgins (adductor) is day to day, which gives him a shot to play in Week 5. He could be in for a huge day again if Chase is out. Gesicki has three TDs over his first four games and Meyers could be a sneaky add off the wire with Chase out. He had seven catches on nine targets for 82 yards. Brown also could have a big day in the passing game again as he caught 11 balls for 71 yards in Week 4.

Nick Sirianni on Saquon Barkley: "We'll see. ...We'll have more answers Wednesday for you probably with that stuff."

Related players: Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley

Bigsby also left the game in Week 4 with an apparent groin injury, according to reports, so this could be a tricky situation. Bigsby, if healthy, is a must-add this week, but Shipley could have value too. Right now it's a fluid situation given the lack of information on Bigsby. The initial reports on Barkley seemed to be good, but hamstrings can be tricky and he's not a lock to play. The Eagles will have an early morning game in Week 5 as they play in London against the Jags.

Head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Monday that Tee Higgins is considered day-to-day after suffering an adductor injury late in Sunday’s game.

Related players: Ja'Marr Chase, Dohnte Meyers, Colbie Young, Mike Gesicki, Chase Brown

Higgins had 11 catches for 157 yards before his injury. As the story said, Higgins had a busy day when Chase left with a concussion. Given how it typically takes more than a week to clear protocol, Chase's status for Week 5 is definitely in doubt. The day to day tag gives Higgins a shot to play in Week 5, but we'll need to monitor his progress this week on the practice field. Higgins could be in store for another busy day. Gesicki had three catches and a TD in Week 4. He has three TD catches over the first four weeks. Brown had 11 catches while not doing much in the running game and Meyers could be a sneaky pickup this week - he had seven catches for 82 yards on nine targets.

Commanders QB Marcus Mariota suffered an MCL sprain Sunday in London, per source. This is his second MCL sprain, the first coming in the preseason.

Related players: Jayden Daniels , Athan Kaliakmanis

After Mariota couldn't return to the game, there was already talk Daniels (elbow) may be ready to go in Week 5, which is a home game against the Giants in the early window. Daniels did travel with the team for their overseas game in Week 4 and also practiced. If Daniels isn't ready, it will be Kaliakmanis, who came on in relief of Mariota.

Texans HC DeMeco Ryans says they will open the practice window for WR Tank Dell, DT Kayden McDonald, OT Braeden Smith.

Dell could be on the active roster within 21 days. Dell has not played since December 2024 when he suffered a devastating knee injury. He missed the rest of the '24 season and all of 2025. Dell is a former third round pick who had 98 catches for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns through his first 25 career games before the injury. The big question will be can he return to that form, and it at least looks like he'll be given the chance with the Texans.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson tells Jeff Joniak on ESPN1000 about the starting quarterback for Week 5 in Green Bay: "Tyson Bagent will be the guy. We'll go from there. We're in good shape."

Related players: Caleb Williams, Case Keenum

Bagent was 25 for 34 for 268 and an interception against the Jets in Week 4, and was good enough for the Bears to get the win. Despite Keenum having a better statistical performance against the Eagles in Week 3, it's clear the Bears want the 26-year-old Bagent as their QB2 over 38-year-old Keenum until Williams gets back. The Bears travel to Green Bay in Week 5 in a game that was moved to the early window. Bagent should have a good chance to put up QB2 numbers against a Packers defense that has largely struggled this season.

Kyle Monangai has a thumb injury. He said he would have to get it looked at Monday. Did not know how he did it either.

"I couldn't even tell you. I just looked down at my hand and I said, oh, that hurts."

Cronin's post went on to say that Monangai's last play was a third down run that came up just shy of the sticks. She said Monangai exited the field with 4:08 to play and didn't come back to the game. Cronin added what may be some good news in that Monangai spoke in a press conference setting afterwards. Most times if an injury is really significant, the team won't make the player available. We'll have to see if Monangai is able to get on the practice field this week. Signs are at least pointing in the right direction, but things can certainly change.

Commanders punt returner and WR Jaylin Lane suffered a fracture and dislocation of his ankle, tests confirmed.

The post went on to say he is likely done for the season and that Lane's ankle has now been stabilized and the speedster is undergoing further tests from the injury in London. Lane only had two catches this season for the Commanders and we had him as the team's WR6.

With Rams receiver Puka Nacua having “core muscle” issues during training camp and then a hip/groin problem that caused him to miss two games, it began to seem as if Nacua might have a hernia.

But coach Sean McVay, during Puka’s recent absence, said the Rams’ top receiver does not have a hernia.

As explained by Erin Andrews of Fox Sports early in Sunday’s Rams-Eagles game, Nacua has a “pre-hernia.”

The story said there’s a weakness in the wall of muscle that keeps internal tissue from popping through. But, for now, nothing has popped through. So it’s not a hernia yet. But it could still become a hernia. Puka played well in his return against the Eagles. But the story pointed out the overriding question is whether it can and will heal over time, especially as he continues to apply stress to the affected area. It’s something that could still result in a condition that will require surgery, during or after the 2026 season, the story said.
