Addison left last week's game and didn't return. With T.J. Hockenson lost for the season at TE, the Vikings will need all hands on deck as they sit at 7-8 on the season. There is also a report that any of their three QBs could get the start in Week 17. If Addison can't go, Osborn could be in line for more targets. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding this offense right now.

The Vikings won’t have tight end T.J. Hockenson for the rest of the season.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell confirmed in his Tuesday press conference that Hockenson suffered a torn ACL and MCL during Sunday’s loss to the Lions.

It’s a significant blow to the Vikings’ offense, as Hockenson leads the team with 95 catches and 960 yards in his first full season with the club. While Hockenson will finish with 15 games played, both are career highs for the 26-year-old tight end. Hockenson also has five touchdowns, the story all said. The worry now, of course, is how much time could Hockenson miss to start the 2024 season.

Jets QB Zach Wilson will not play Thursday night at Browns, per Saleh.

Brock Purdy aggravated the stinger injury he initially suffered against the Cardinals in Week 15. But Purdy said after the game that he’s expecting to be fine for the Week 17 game against Washington and head coach Kyle Shanahan reiterated the same on Tuesday.

Purdy completed 18-of-32 passes for 255 yards with no touchdowns and four interceptions, working out to a career-worst 42.6 passer rating. After playing well in Saturday’s victory over the Bengals, Mason Rudolph is once again in line to start for the Steelers in Week 17.

According to ESPN's Lisa Salters, Brock Purdy has a shoulder stinger and was cleared to return with the 49ers trailing 33-19. The injury against Baltimore is an aggravation of a stinger he suffered in San Francisco's Week 15 win over Arizona.

Darnold took over in the game, but it sounds like entering the game was more about Purdy's performance. One would assume Purdy will get the call in Week 17 as long as he's healthy. Josh McDaniel said that Jaylen Waddle has a high ankle injury and that the severity of it was still being evaluated. With that evaluation still going on, there’s no word on his status for Week 17’s showdown with the Ravens but McDaniel acknowledged such injuries can be “tricky” even as he expressed hope in Waddle fighting through it.

When Waddle was injured against the Cowboys on Sunday, word was that he hurt his shin but head coach Mike McDaniel said on Monday that the injury is actually that of a high ankle nature. Owners will need to keep an eye on this injury heading into Week 17.

Speaking to the media following the conclusion of the game Monday afternoon, Reid confirmed what was feared regarding running back Isiah Pacheco. The second-year man has a concussion that forced him out of action.

Monday marked Pacheco's first game since Week 13, as the former seventh-round pick missed two consecutive games with a shoulder issue, the story said. Late in the third quarter, Pacheco hauled in a short pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes on a second-and-14 play. After turning upfield, Pacheco's helmet came off and he was hit in the head by the right knee of center Creed Humphrey.
