Team news: Minnesota Vikings | Page 22

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson left Sunday's game against the Raiders with a chest injury.

Jefferson just can't catch a break this season. He had just returned after missing almost two months with a hamstring injury. He took a shot early in the first half and grabbed at his side and was slow to get up. He left the game and was initially ruled questionable to return. He is now done for the day. Jefferson caught two passes for 27 yards. It's been a very unlucky season for Jefferson and for those who drafted him very high, especially at No. 1, this summer.

Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) was ruled out for Monday night against the Giants while RB Aaron Jones (knee) is questionable.

Watson's hamstring issues rear their ugly head again this season after Watson missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury. Watson was on quite a roll with four touchdowns in the last three weeks, helping the Packers to three straight win -- including last week's upset of the Chiefs -- to get the Packers to 6-6 and inside the playoff picture with five weeks left. His absence will certainly open up more opportunities for Jayden Reed (40-513-5) and Romeo Doubs (45-505-7).

Jones was able to practice all week. Even in a limited fashion, it was a good step for Jones after missing the last two games with a knee injury. We'll see how the Packers want to work him with AJ Dillon not as effective and the Packers now very much in the playoff picture.

Vikings All-Pro WR Justin Jefferson is officially off the injury report and set to make his return Sunday at Las Vegas.

With a clean bill of health, Jefferson should be considered a WR1 for fantasy once again. He should be started everywhere.

For the first time since his hamstring injury, Vikings star WR Justin Jefferson was a full participant today at practice. He'll play on Sunday.

Related Players: Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn

Addison will fall back into FLEX considerations with Jefferson back, but could still produce, depending on how often the Vikings ask Joshua Dobbs to sling it around. Jefferson has to be back in WR1 conversations as one of the best route runners in the NFL.

The Vikings are sticking with Josh Dobbs as their starting QB this week against the Raiders.

The team mulled a possible change over the bye. But with All-Pro WR Justin Jefferson back this week, the “Passtronaut” finally gets to play with full weaponry.

Related Players: Nick Mullens, Jaren Hall

Dobbs had a shaky, four-interception performance heading into the bye, so the trepidation feels worthwhile, despite his incredible performances in his first two weeks with the Vikings. It will be fun to see what he can do with Justin Jefferson against this Raiders defense.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur tells reporters that RB Aaron Jones (knee sprain) won't play again this week. He hasn't practiced since his injury.

Related Players: A.J. Dillon, Patrick Taylor

The recent increased usage for Dillon hasn't helped to improve his inefficiency on the ground, as he has rushed for 72 yards on 28 attempts (2.57) the last 1.5 games, despite playing behind an average-or-better offensive line. Regardless, Jones' absence makes him fantasy relevant as a solid RB3.

TE Trey McBride was out working during the open portion of Cardinals practice. WR Hollywood Brown was not.

Related Players: Greg Dortch, Rondale Moore, Kyler Murray

It's looking like the Arizona receiving group could be in flux this week, with Michael Wilson already declared out and Marquise Brown needing a little help to suit up. With Trey McBride returning to practice on Friday, he could be in for a very healthy Week 13 workload.

Jonathan Gannon: WR Michael Wilson, CB Starling Thomas, CB Antonio Hamilton will not play Sunday. Everyone else is TBD, including Hollywood Brown, Trey McBride.

Related Players: Greg Dortch, Rondale Moore

With Wilson missing Week 12, Greg Dortch was targeted nine times, and although he caught a touchdown, he gained only 27 yards on three receptions. The jury's still out on Marquise Brown's availability, but he should be the only receiver we are concerned about in most fantasy lineups.

49ers DNP: DT Arik Armstead (foot), RB Jordan Mason (hamstring), WR Ray-Ray McCloud (rib), T Trent Williams (resting player)

Eagles DNP: TE Grant Calcaterra (ankle), DT Fletcher Cox (groin), LB Zach Cunningham (hamstring), S Justin Evans (knee), TE Dallas Goedert (forearm)

Related Players: Jack Stoll

It doesn't look like Goedert is trending towards playing in Week 13, so he'll likely miss at least one more week with his forearm injury. Jack Stoll has technically seen an increased workload, but that has parlay into four targets and 17 yards over the last two weeks. Goedert will return to a top-ten TE role when eligible.

In open portion of Cardinals practice, TE Trey McBride is out here but in baseball cap and just watching.

Related Players: Greg Dortch, Rondale Moore

Things are trending in a poor direction for the Cardinals offense this week, ahead of a tough Steelers matchup. Missing both guys would further put the squeeze on Kyler Murray's fantasy value, as he's already playing behind a suspect offensive line. Dortch and Moore could both be in line for desperation FLEX options.
