Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka will miss time with a hamstring injury.

Egbuka will get an MRI today. Rapoport said the injury doesn't seem as serious as Evans' hamstring injury, but it's looking like he's going to at least miss this week's game against the Lions. The Bucs then play the Saints before their Week 9 bye, so it's very possible we don't see Egbuka until Week 10. Rapoport said Evans is getting closer to a return and Godwin is week to week. Anyone on the Bucs who plays the WR position could be in play for fantasy lineups, at least for Week 7. It was Kam Johnson and Tez Johnson who both stood out with TD catches against the 49ers.

The Cowboys ruled out WRs CeeDee Lamb and KaVontae Turpin, as well as starting G Tyler Booker and T Tyler Guyton for Sunday's game vs. the Jets.

It should be the Pickens/Ferguson show once again, as they both project as top-5, volume-based plays at their respective positions. There is at least some hope for Lamb returning in Week 6, so managers can breathe a sigh of relief.

Cowboys not ready to make calls until after practice on status of injured guys like Tyler Guyton, Tyler Smith, KaVontae Turpin. "We've got to figure out a number of guys," Brian Schottenheimer said. CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Booker will miss second straight game.

With surgery today, it’s possible that Tyreek Hill will undergo additional surgeries. There is no guarantee he’ll be ready for 2026.

None of his 2026 salary is guaranteed now, but $11M (of $29.9M) becomes fully guaranteed if he’s on the roster in March, plus a $5M roster bonus.

The Tyreek injury saps some explosiveness out of a Dolphins offense based on it. We should expect more work out of Waddle, while the WR2 role is theoretically Washington's, though it will likely be spread around to a number of faces. We'll have to see exactly how that plays out in the upcoming weeks.

Bucs coach Todd Bowles said Baker Mayfield (biceps) Tristan Wirfs (knee) and Chris Godwin (ankle) are all questionable for Sunday but trending the right way. Mayfield should be able to play.

Chris Godwin was a full participant Wed, had a scheduled day off Thursday and is back practicing today as well as T Tristan Wirfs. Both seem to be on track to play Sunday vs. Eagles. Will update after practice with Todd Bowles.

Evans' hamstring injury isn't considered as bad as the injury that caused him to miss three weeks last season. Evans is hopeful of a possible return before Week 7, and avoiding a trip to the IR. Godwin is working his way back from the ankle injury, but likely isn't returning this week. Egbuka should be the team's top target at WR with Shepard sliding in as the second. It's possible Otton, Irving and White see a bump in the passing game. Miller and both Johnsons have played very limited roles so far this season with Miller collecting a 20-yard TD catch in Week 2.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said on that CeeDee Lamb has a high ankle sprain.

The post went on to say Lamb said after the game yesterday that he’d be able to play next Sunday, but Jones made it sound like they’re gonna wait and see how the week goes before determining that. We all know by now we can't trust a player when it comes to his playing status. Lamb's ankle injury didn't look good, especially if you happened to see the still images on social media. But it's at least some good news that Lambs thinks he can play. However, owners should probably prepare to be without him at least for Week 4. The Cowboys play the Sunday night game at home against the Packers in Week 4.

While Bucs coach Todd Bowles said the team does not have MRI results for star WR Mike Evans, he termed the injury as "low-grade" based on the initial diagnosis.

As Rapoport went on to say, it's a good sign the injury won't be a longer term one. Still, Evans doesn't seem likely to play in Week 4 against the Eagles, in what is an earlier Sunday game. With Egbuka also battling an injury coming into Week 3, and Godwin projected to miss another week or two, the Bucs are suddenly a bit shorthanded at the WR position. Egbuka did play in Week 3 and led the team with six catches and 85 yards, so he should be good to go at least. But behind him it's possible Irving, White, and Otton see increased work in the passing game. At WR, Shepard and Miller look to be the next men up.

I’m told Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle is expected to play today and be a big factor in Miami’s offense tonight vs. Bills. They need him.

Not much doubt despite being questionable with minor shoulder injury.

If Waddle's a full go tonight, he's a good bet to sneak up to WR3 potential in a game we're expecting the Dolphins to be forced into the air through a vast majority of the time. Hill is still in WR2 range.
