Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports that Gardner Minshew will remain the team’s starter.

O’Connell replaced Minshew and led a touchdown drive during the team’s Week 3 loss to the Panthers. We reported on Monday that Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce suggested a quarterback change was possible for Week 4 but that won't happen, at least for this week.

Pierce wanted to see if Aidan O'Connell gave the offense "a spark" and wouldn't rule out a QB change this week.

Minshew threw for 214 yards with a TD and INT. O'Connell came in and went 9-for-12 for 82 yards and a TD. The Raiders were stunned by Andy Dalton and the Panthers and couldn't overcome a 27-7 deficit heading into the fourth quarter. The Raiders will likely make a decision later this week about their Week 4 QB. The Raiders host the Brown in a later afternoon game.

“Yeah, it’s crazy because teams still — the respect factor they have for Travis Kelce is just unreal,” quarterback Patrick Mahomes said after Sunday’s 22-17 victory over the Falcons. “It’s well-deserved, but we’re calling a lot of plays for Travis, and it’s like two or three people are going to him. So, I mean, he understands."

Through three games, Kelce has just eight catches on 12 targets for 69 yards. While it’s been just three games it’s still a significant dip in production for the veteran tight end. His 8.6 yards per reception is well off his career average of 12.5 — or even last year’s mark of 10.6. His 2.7 receptions per game is way off last year’s 6.2, the story said. Mahomes did point out the attention Kelce is getting is freeing up other players, especially Rashee Rice who has been the Chiefs fantasy star so far this season.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid says Kareem Hunt will not be activated for the Falcons. Reid adds that both left tackles, Kingsley Suamataia and Wanya Morris, will see time in Atlanta.

The best guess is that Steele will handle early-down work, with Perine taking care of most of the third downs, and Ingram will rotate in for a handful of snaps. We currently have Steele and Perine ranked as low-end RB3s.

No sign of RBs Joe Mixon or Dameon Pierce today. They haven’t practiced this week. Looking more and more like a Cam Akers week.

Akers took much of the role following Mixon's injury in Week 2, producing 39 total yards on eight opportunities. Ogunbowale will rotate in —particularly on third downs— but Akers should be fired up as a fringe RB2/3 for Week 3.

The Chiefs have signed RB Keaontay Ingram to the active roster, Kareem Hunt to the practice squad and placed RB Isiah Pacheco on Injured Reserve, among other moves.

Hunt is now 29 so it remains to be seen just what he has left in the tank. But, he is familiar with the Chiefs offense, so there could be some opportunity to play sooner than later. It could come down to just how successful the Chiefs will be at RB with Steele and Perine, who could also be free agents this week in your league. Steel and Perine will get the first chances, but Hunt could at least be a deeper league stash if you can't claim Steele or Perine.

The injury Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco suffered on Sunday is a serious one, but not season-ending.

Pacheco will miss 6-8 weeks, according to multiple reports. Pacheco will go on injured reserve but does expect to play again this year.

As the story said, that’s reasonably good news considering that Pacheco reportedly suffered a fractured fibula, which can sideline players for multiple months. A report said the Chiefs are bringing in Kareem Hunt for a visit, so a reunion could be possible. For now, Steele and Perine look like they'll split the workload but the Chiefs will likely have to bring in another back.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Joe Mixon is getting an MRI on his ankle.

Mixon was able to return to Sunday night’s game after hurting his ankle, but there’s enough concern about the injury for Mixon to go for tests on Monday, the story went on to say. While it was good news he was able to return, Mixon owners may want to backup their RB if they haven't already. Pierce was the team's RB1 before Mixon was signed and should be up next if Mixon would have to miss time. Ogunbowale is more of the pass-catching back. Akers had a nice preseason and looks to be healthy again and could factor in as well.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco is expected to land on injured reserve with the fibula injury he suffered Sunday vs. the Bengals.

Pacheco will miss a minimum of four weeks and quite possibly longer, per Schefter's sources. He is undergoing additional testing today to determine the full damage, according to the rest of the post, but the injury did not look good. For now, Steele and Perine are expected to split the RB duties with Steele likely getting early down carries and Perine the passing down back. CEH is on the NFI list, reportedly for mental health issues. He will need to miss the first four games but there hasn't been a timetable for his return. The Chiefs will likely have to make a move at the position, at least until CEH is able to come back.
