The extensions mean the Broncos’ top four receivers — Patrick, Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler — are under contract through 2023.
And that fact could certainly help lure a veteran QB to Denver and jolt the Broncos back into relevancy like Peyton Manning did in 2012.

We eluded to this on Monday when the Sutton extension was announced. The story, however, worries about the team adding Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson. While it's an upgrade over Bridgewater or Lock, all three come with baggage, of course. But mix in a running game and TE Noah Fant and the Broncos are certainly an attractive destination that could put the team over the top with a QB upgrade.
